This isn't going to get better if we keep leaving them open on 3 and missing offensive rebounds and turning over the fucking ball.

What a miserable game. Must win for us, and we forget how to play D.

I don't agree that this is a must-win for us. Suns can go up 2-1 and we will still win game 4. In fact, it may be good for us to go through that kind of adversity, seeing as how no one looks like theyre playing at 100% potential right now.

Have to find a way to turn that around. Spurs top 5 in 3 pt makes and 3 pt percentage in the reg season. That something we rely on.

Today: suns 6-9 spurs 0-7.

If we lose many fans will be ready to toss in the towel but no, they obviously have to win game 4 and tie it at 2 but they have proven they can win big games on the road. You don't want to lose tonight but they are by no means done if they do.

I'm trying to console myself with the fact that they've still got a half to play after this. They had a bad first half game 1, and came out as monsters in the second half. Still wasn't totally clicking, but they brought it.

Things are beginning to look better, so hopefully they can close this out ok, without going down anymore (making up some ground would be ok too). Then they can make the necessary adjustments and come out strong for the 3rd.

Actually, Manu seems to be ok - better than before.

I was dogging on him earlier, but he did what I wanted him to do - be aggressive, get to the line.

He just needs to keep it up and be consistent and the rest should start falling into place. He had some nice moments on D.

Manu - make you a deal - settle it down, keep up the aggression, stop taking 3s for awhile, and we can be friends again, k?

Seriously, though, the missed 3s were just piling on. If he keeps up going to the hoop, I really think he'll be back as we knew him, more or less.

Spurs did a better jod tightening the D in the last few possessions. Finley's 3 was huge. It's about time we got one to fall! More guys need to hit some jumpers though. All of our offense is coming from TD in the post ... TP getting layups ... and Manu driving to the hole. There is absolutely nothing coming from outside, and that's doing nothing but helping the Suns Defense and their rebounding efforts. Finley or TP need to show a little mid range game.

As odd as it sounds, FT's are a huge bonus for us tonight. 14-16 for the Spurs vs 7-12 for the Suns.

Nash has been held to 0 points. And he's only taken 4 shots.

I'm confident. We're gonna get this. Just hit a few more buckets, and continue the defense and energy that we saw at the end of the 2nd, and this one is ours.

You're a fool. You don't think Pop wants them to cover the open shooters? You think that we can play our starters the entire game?

I don't get some of you. You act like if Pop doesn't recognize the fundementals.

I'm a fool, eh?
First off, they weren't covering the 3 point shooters for the 1st quarter and majority of the 2nd. That's something that Pop needed to address, and fast.

Here's the rotation I'm talking about:
C: TD (26 mins)/Oberto (22 mins)
PF: TD (16 mins)/Horry (26 mins)/Fin (6 mins)
SF: Bruce (36 mins)/ Fin (12 mins)
SG: MAnu (32 mins)/ Fin (16 mins)
PG: Parker (42 mins)/Manu (6 mins)

That's a 7-man rotation with only TD and TP playing more than 40 mins. This is the playoffs, time to leave it all on the floor. I'd rather lose at the hands of Duncan and Parker than with Elson and Vaughn.

Try and comprehend that before starting the name-calling. Thanks

I also don't expect the suns to shoot 54 % fg and 67% from 3.

Nash can score - I'll take Nash scoring over Diaw or over Bell's open 3's. Or even over Stoudemire, because it decreases the chances of additional foul trouble. Horry and Oberto both have 3.

I'll take Nash beating us, I think.

I want the Spurs to come out be strong and do what they did to finish the quarter. Frankly, they can even suck a little during the middle of the quarters, if they'll just finish each quarter as strongly as they did that half.
