Yep, I can't think of a better country to lead a committee like that than one with an inflation rate of 2,000% (not a typo - two thousand percent).

I'm no saying I agree, but the UN has had countries with lower inflation rate running the economic progress committee and that has not been very successfull either

The main purpose of the UN is to give the little pissant countries of the world the illusion that the major powers care what they have to say, so that they will try to mediate their own disputes rather than starting wars. Occasionally, it works.

So if some pointless backward despot-run country like Zimbabwe runs a committee, it doesn't really matter.
