shock? we didn't even have time to invest any energy in that short series. i was very pissed and sad until the next morning and then i forgot about it. anyway, this thread has been done, like two weeks ago.

Need to change your name to mavs<Warriors.

Then one of our warrior fans can admit that Warriors < Spurs.

Then, by transitivity, we have me: mavs < Spurs.

But your "team" has changed to the Jazz! (After you changed it from the Suns.)

u lost in the first round to an 8th seed........... it would have been less humiliating on you and your squad if they didn't even make the playoffs in the first place

Since my boys are out I need someone to root for. because I hate the spurs with a passion, any team who plays them is my favorite team. :clap

Even in defeat, the jealousy and obsessive attention from Kings fan is funny.

atxrocker
05-20-2007, 02:07 PM
jealousy? uh, not quite. your team had an impressive run in the regular season and then proceeded to promptly fold in the playoffs...again. regular season wins dont mean shit if you ain't got the heart to go all the way. mavs don't, taking example from the softest superstar in the league in dirk. what the fuck would we be jealous about? get real.

Something Kings fan is very much acquainted with.

what the fuck would we be jealous about? get real.

If I were a Kings fan, I'd switch places with Mavs fan in a heartbeat, so the cluttering up the board with anti-Mavs venom makes sense. In the present NBA landscape, only the Spurs, Pistons and Heat have accomplished anything. Therefore, the Mavs shouldn't receive any more attention than the Hawks or Grizzlies, and yet they clearly receive much, much more. It wasn't our owner that stupidly traded for Ron Artest and hired a drunk to coach his team. We'll survive a first round loss to a very good Warrior team that would've won 55 games if they had been healthy and had that roster together all year. Kings aren't coming back for quite a while.

Fillmoe
05-20-2007, 02:15 PM
So why the attention towards Dallas?

because their shitty ass fans used to be on here 24/7 hyping them up..... talking shit like they already won the championship...... so we gotta let em know where they stand every now and then

Thank god for the Warriors humbling Mavs fans for the most part. Now I won't be annoyed with them because they will realize now, for real, that regular season is just a ticket to the real season.

Seriously though, there are some great Mavs fans here, dirk4mvp, ponky, mavsfan1000 I think is reasonable, among a few others, but I am talking about bandwagon Mavs-riders here in Dallas as well, not just posters.

I don't care if the mavs got eliminated in the 1st round they would still kick the spurs ass. The spurs should thank the warriors because if the spurs would have to play the mavs the spurs season would be over. Mavs match up well with the spurs the mavs have won 8 out of their last 10 against the spurs INCLUDING POSTSEASON PLAY.

I'm still here and will continue to be here no matter what happens to the Mavs. All those Mavs posters who left the board after the loss to the Warriors arent true fans anyways. Wish I could sit here and say Im watching Mavs/SPurs game 1 an exciting rivalry series with subplots, etc... instead I'm forced to watch the Spurs engage in a series against the boring Jazz

Let's hope so.

If that's all it takes to win a Championship nowadays (one hard play-off hip-check), then we'll gladly take it.

Somehow, I don't think that's going to be enough to beat the Pistons, but we'll see...

Whatever helps ya'll sleep at night. It's like Spurs fans saying well if Ginobili never fouled Dirk in game 7, we win the series, and beat the Heat to win the championship. none of that matters, its irrelevant. It's sad that a Mav fan would use that as thier argument.
