Both teams are very weak on the road.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/standings

3rd seed Utah has a worse road than the 5th and 6th seeds.

This could go 7 games, with nobody winning on the road. Whoever wins on the road first, wins the series.

GS WILL tie the series, did you see the complete dismantling of Utah's defense in Game 3 at Oracle? DAYUM!

Jazz (8-12 last 20 games regular season) vs. Warriors (15-5 last 20 games regular season) are giving one of the best performances in my short career of watching PO's. Does anyone know of another team who played thusly in the past during post-season play?

The writing was on the wall between these two ballclubs during regular season play. Their first two meetings were pre-trade and they split wins, but Game 2 Utah had been on a roll winning their first 12 straight. They droped their first regular season loss to Warriors. Four of Utah's starters scored only four points each. Post trade both teams won a game, but Game 3 was close and Game 4 Warriors blew past Utah. I submit that during regular season play Warriors dominated Utah!

Witnessing this ballclub stun the #1 seeded MVP led Mavs was fun, but watching them continue to fight each and every game, not resting on their laurels, is a sight for a weary Kings fan to behold!

I'm pumped. I hope the Warriors don't get overexcited and let this one slip away!! The way I see it it's a must win for GS, go down 3-1, it'll be hard to win 2 in Utah.

Here's hoping Monta Ellis has a good game, he's been off this entire postseason.

Seriously, he's been a non-factor most of the way but played a solid game 3 against Utah. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come. However, Baron doesn't seem to be losing any steam yet...

If series goes 2-2 today, historically the winner of Game5 wins the series by a huge margin. So it looks like the Warriors need to win Game4 and Game5, then finish it with Game6 at home.

Golden State will win tonight to even the series.

The Warriors blew their best opportunities to win this series. Utah wins in 7 with none of the two teams getting a road win.

One thing I've noticed in each of the first 3 games is that Utah executes much better down the stretch. The first two games were close, but Utah played better at the end and won. Although game 3 was a blowout, Utah cut a 30-point lead down to 13 or so down the stretch. If they had kept it close, they probably would've won as well.

GS needs to play smarter at times. They seem to live and die by the three, but they also need to learn how to play better down the stretch.

I'm rooting for the Warriors though. Here's to another facial by Davis. :toast

Tfart, you're a dumbass. We're not talking about the start of the game. We're talking about less than 30 seconds left in a game that you're up 11.

And the shot clock wasn't even winding down, there was still like 12 seconds left on the shot clock and GS wasn't even trying to foul at that point.

If you're going to defend Okur for going in for the dunk in that situation, instead of dribbling out the shot clock and shooting a jumper, then you shouldn't be crying about Jason Richardson saying 'not in our house.'

anyway, i could care less about j-rich's antics, okur can do whatever the fuck he wants, it's a game, it wasn't 0:00 so stop being such fags about the fact that he was going for a dunk, you sound like isaiah. besides, the warriors were going to town on the mavs up until the final buzzer went off and they were up by double digits...probably didn't bitch then right? what puzzles me is baron's bitch move on fisher. wtf, i thought they were friends and while it was nice of fisher to try to downplay the situtation, i hope baron gets his ass handed to him with a suspension so that he can sit at home and watch his team get bumped and feel like shit for not being able to contribute...consistency, if you're going to call that in-the-act arm flailing of kobe then an obvious elbow to the head should be likewise rewarded. as for j-rich, no suspension necessary, same goes for bowen.

so basically people are defending Richardson for clotheslining a guy at the end of a game. The shot clock was winding down when he drove to the basket if you go back and look if you tivo'd it. the same with the 3. the 3 imo he took in retaliation of the foul. if you're so adamant about people "disrespecting you" then do something about it on the court with your gameplay rather than resorting to violent behavior. easiest thing to do is commit a senseless foul. probably had more to do with him sucking ass that game than okur. if youre a man, then take your beating like a man and move on. and whats funny is that GS has been taking cheap shots the whole playoffs and dunking late etc etc. remember when davis dunked on AK47?? that little 3 minute stint of self appreciation ... thats okay, yet this was intolerable... please. The spend the entire game disrespecting their opponents if you watch closely. Jackson and davis are so full of themselves that they seem to argue every single call and commit senseless turnovers trying to create something out of completely nothing. Yep, same old warriors at last.

The Warrior's "magic" is officially gone...

I hate Utah because of Boozer (for screwing the Cavs) and Okur...glad to see Okur get decked. Well deserved when you pull that BS...

what BS? taking it strong to the rack? where was that foul early in the game? nwo he thinks hes a man just because he clotheslined a defenseless man... a real man does it during the course of the game ... not in garbage time. there was nothing remotely respectable about it.

its one thing to protect your teammates, or to send someone to the line to avoid a easy shot, but its a totally different thing entirely to take a shot at someone in a manner thats 1. totally unprofessional and 2. physically endangering. so its safe to assume, hes gonna pussy out and do that at the end when it doesn't matter and the game is already out of reach so he can get away clean and off the court to avoid being retaliated against. but its cool, okur didn't fight him he just took the next opportunity to sink another 3: seems like a good answer to me.

Yes, taking it "strong to the rack" when it wasn't necessary...bitch move that gets you put on your ass...

Any word of suspensions yet?

so whose the bigger man. the one who makes the senseless foul in that situation? or the one that makes a play on the ball and gets dunked on.

Yes, taking it "strong to the rack" when it wasn't necessary...bitch move that gets you put on your ass...

the foul was unnecessary ... a bitch move that should get his sorry a$$ suspended. but it wont, that way they can get their plastic butts handed to them on national tv with their full compliment of players. Beyond that, what exactly did that prove? to anyone? might just have fueled a fire that will more than likely burn them in game 5 ...

DSterns cool like that. Make him take his punishment on the court like a man...

Doesn't make it right.

If Horry should be suspended for his actions, Richardson should as well.

If he isn't, the league is setting a dangerous double standard here.

No way JRich gets suspended. You could say what he did was at least a b-ball move (ie, going for a block) but he only got him across the arms...

What Horry did was NOT a b-ball move in any way...

It doesn't change the fact that it what Richardson did was just as malicious and uncalled for- basketball move or not.

Since when does having a team having their ass handed to them late in the game give them the right to display questionable sportsmanship? This seems to be a common occurrence whenever the Warriors lose playoff games.

Wow...I can't believe how many Spurs fans are trying to defend or minimize Horry's actions. "Steve Nash was flopping" or "A bitch ass foul at the end of the game is exactly the same as a hard foul defending one's own rim"...

I remember just a couple weeks ago when Jason Terry "bodyslammed" Baron Davis and attempted to "break his neck" and how any Mavs fan was called a whining homer douchebag for having suggested that Davis might have been selling the foul or that simple physics would tell you that Terry could never have gotten the leverage to take Davis down due to where his arms and legs were at.

The only double standard going on is with the Spurs fans.

If this was Amare going for a cheap dunk with the game in hand, then I would have applauded Robert Horry hip checking him into the stands...but this was Steve Nash trying to dribble the clock out, and a simple grab would have sufficed, or even a swat to attempt to steal the ball, but Horry went out of his way to go lay a bitch foul on him.

I'm not minimizing what Horry did.

I'm looking for the league to be consistent in the way it doles out punishment.

IMO, Horry should be suspended for his actions. So should Richardson.

No question the Warriors have shown bad sportsmanship during the losing moments of playoff games...

But what Horry did isn't comparable to what Richardson did...sorry. Decking Nash was part 1...there's no way around the elbow at Bell's face...

Well I agree about the suspensions, although I think Davis should be the one suspended for his cheap shot on Fisher...I think that foul is a little more comparable to Horry's. Richardson's foul was unneccessary as well, but at least it was defending his rim and his bitch foul was in direct response to a bitch move by Okur.

I thought Davis' shot on Fisher was over-looked during the game...they just kind of glossed over it. Definitely more worthy of suspension than Richardson's foul...

What part of the game did Davis elbow Fisher?

I still got the game on DVR since I had to watch it yesterday morning after a dinner appointment Sunday evening.

towards the end of the game. not too far ahead of Jrich's flagrant.
