NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- New Orleans Hornets forward Jamal Mashburn will be out six to eight weeks after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Monday.
The surgery to remove loose particles from Mashburn's knee took place in Miami.
Mashburn missed all eight preseason games and missed the Hornets' first three regular-season games with a bone bruise on his right knee. He was placed on the injured list on Oct. 27.
