If Golden State keeps losing their cool when they lose big games, "The City" will have no choice but to trade the trouble makers. We have all seen that happen before when teams can't control their players.

Both Baron Davis and Jason Richardson will be under review by the NBA on Monday after a couple of incidents late in the game -- Davis for elbowing Derek Fisher and Richardson for a clothesline foul of Mehmet Okur. The Davis incident wasn't seen by the officials, but he clearly took a cheap shot at Fisher and could face a suspension. Richardson's hard foul most likely will merit a fine. Without either man, Golden State would be in huge trouble in Salt Lake City for Game 5 on Tuesday.

mehmet hoekur should know better than to try and dunk it with an 11 point lead and less than 30 secs left in the game

Okur should have known better hell Sloan should know better. Is unwritten rule you don't go for dunk when your team is up 11 with less then 30 seconds to go in the game. Okur was better off taking a jumpshot instead. The bad news for the Warriors is now both Baron and JRich will likely be suspended for Game 5.

get the fuck out fillmoe and all the other hypocrites. warriors went to town in front of their home crowd when they were kicking the living shit out of the mavs up by double digits at the end of two games. don't come back with this soft crap about okur should've known better. it's a playoff game, the clock was still ticking, the warriors always lose their cool only when they're losing, no big surprise. they are a very good team, they just lack some mental maturity. if they can do it to one team, hey, they can man up and take the same in defeat.

Unwritten rule #2:

If you are going to get pissed off about being down 11 points... don't get down by 11 points.

If going hard to the basket and drawing a hard foul gets Richardson suspended, I'd say Okur made a pretty smart move.

Agree 100%. If the Spurs face the Jazz in the WCF, that will be a very physical series with zero complaints. The Suns need to learn something.

Exactly, unwritten, as in, the rule DOES NOT EXIST.

Has every whining Suns fan forgot what happened to the Spurs when they went to sleep with a huge lead against a certain player that Utah just knocked off?

Oh yeah, T-Mac detonated for 11 points in under a minute, won the game, and had a commercial made about his heroism. And that was a REGULAR SEASON GAME.

This is the playoffs. This isn't some ego-saving respite for teams that get their ass kicked at home because they only knew how to shoot shots from San Francisco every single trip down the court. Golden State had every chance to win that game, had several favorable calls, and they pissed it away on 3 point attempts.

If you don't want a player to get in the lane for an easy dunk, how about playing defense to prevent that? Don't get pissed and flagrantly foul someone because he's treating your team like a real threat and wants to ensure a 3-1 series lead. Did you see the Bulls whining about the spanking the Pistons handed to them? How about the Spurs when Phoenix won by 20 and was still chucking near the end of the game?

It's the freaking playoffs. It's not the place for soft egos where a team will be coddled into believing it played a close game when down by double digits.

A stupid questions deserves a stupid answer...

Who the fuck asked you.

How far did your team make it in the playoffs?

And lastly...

I could care less about Utah and Golden State. Why would I whine? It's called an observation. Thanks for playin' though.

It's the dark side of a Cinderella team advancing - they quickly develop a sense of entitlement about winning and become unglued whenever - gasp! - someone outplays them.

The Warriors were obviously better than their record, but a second-round exit was likely no matter what.

Give me a break if it was Duncan giving a hard foul to Stoudemire in a Suns blowout you be the first one to wet yourself in approval.

He absorbs the hard foul and takes his free throws. There aren't supposed to be easy baskets in the playoffs, but you don't stop playing just because you are up 11 with 40 seconds left.

There should be no controversy.

I am not saying to stop playing but play without showing off. A jumpshot would have suffice instead of going in for the dunk. However Davis's hit on Fisher was a cheapshot. I know JRich will get suspended but his was more frustration.

Why is it not okay for Okur to attempt that dunk, but we celebrate Baron Davis posterizing AK-47 when that game was way out of hand?

The Warriors were obviously better than their record, but a second-round exit was likely no matter what.

True. If they keep that team together, they'll win 55 games next year and get the 4 or 5 seed, and Dallas ran up those 67 wins against half the league tanking for Oden, so in time it won't be considered nearly as big an upset as it is now.

The difference is that Duncan would never, EVER drop his level of intelligence and competitiveness so far that he has to take a cheap shot like that.

Plus, you'll never get a free pass in the lane against San Antonio, even if you're up 40 with 10 seconds left. It just doesn't happen, because our players never quit on D.
