when our stand-up starter bowen is slammed people in this town say things like,"he's might be dirty, but we would always want him on our team." come on san antonio! the all-defensive team is voted on by coaches. coaches around this league probably spend more time watching bowen on tape than any other player in the league. that's why "coaches" vote him the best. camby is only nba defensive player of the year because the sportswriters do the voting. and honestely, that means even sean elliot could get a vote, and that's just silly.

so when you hear crying and moaning about bowen, ask people why the leagues basketball masterminds keep rewarding him with this honor YEAR AFTER YEAR. and by the way, the only coach that cannot vote for bowen is pop, and i bet you a dollar that d'antoni cast bowen a vote himself.
