I realized tonight as I read Dan's rebuff of Al Jazeera's Baghdad bureau chief's ties to Zarqawi, Al Qaeda, et. al., that something had to be done.
It's sort of an Artest kind of thing - another sad chapter in a long, sad story, that capped off a pathetic body of work.
That, and I realized I have wasted several hours of my life the last few months arguing over black helicopter/tin hat/Osama is great Bush is Satan theories with someone whose elevator doesn't go to the top floor.
So a great burden has been lifted, here and now...
