Or do you think the momentum and swing is now on in favor of the Suns?

Predict the rest of this series...

Suns will come out mad at how the Spurs treated them in the closing minutes of that game. They'll have the home crowd in their favor and Steve Nash is proving to be the best player in this series...not Duncan because Nash is getting it done in crunch time, not Duncan.

we have to remember that the spurs have yet to play 4 solid quarters of basketball. I think thats gonna happen in game 5 and we will take it at home, we are no strangers to any type of playoff situation i think we take it in 6

Spurs should win series if the league suspends Amare & Diaw. If the league doesn't suspend Amare & Diaw then the series is a toss up. I really don't think home court matters to either of these teams.

Also Bell is out defending Bowen. Bell is doing his part shutting down Ginobili from this series...Bowen has yet to do that with Nash for a full 48 minutes.

The end of Game 4 will be a huge yoke for the Spurs to overcome. Pop looked shaken in the postgame press conference.

I think the Spurs will come back strong in Game 5, but if they don't this could get ugly. I still think the Spurs can out execute the Suns (normally) in the clutch.

Absolutely.
Spurs just have to absorb the new twists and plots that have developed recently.
They are thinkers and analysts by nature and I'm sure the Pop hotline has been busy, cellphone, coffee and glass of wine all sharing the same space on the memo cluttered desk.

I have my doubts. Not to say I'm a bandwagon fan but Horry made a poor choice and I'll be curious to see how the Suns respond. Nash in particular. I really like his demeanor and attitude. He never complains, talks trash or anything else. He just plays. He's pretty much the only player on that team I like and I'd like to see him get a ring eventually. I think this year is as good or better for him to do that. It won't shock me if the Suns beat the Spurs since 3 of the games were so close. If the Spurs win the next one, I think they take it in six. If this thing goes seven, I think Phoenix wins.

Of course they can still win. The series is theoretically where it should be. The Spurs will at least take this to the seventh game because they will NOT lose the sixth game at home. No way. I think tomorrow night will be a killer game and I really think the Spurs can win it. But basics must occur, like hitting outside shots when fatigued late in the fourth quarter, a decently officiated game, Tim staying out of foul trouble. I don't doubt the Spurs will play with the utmost defensive intensity.

I hate to say it because I'm the biggest Manu fan out there but he has really, really disappointed me this series. We can't play him in the regular season for fear of injury and we can't play him in the playoffs due to a streak and an inability to score. He has a history of owning the Suns, I'm disappointed that he has not stepped up and found the confidence to thrive in this series.

The Spurs collapse in the 4th quarter was a wholesale endictment the players and coach. They didn't look like champions at all, while the Suns did.

d'Antonio kept Amare out a long time and put him back in just at the right time.
Pop kept Tim out a long time and put him back in too late.

Allowing Suns to take bacK HCA was a huge blow for the Surs. Game4 was essentially an elmination game, and the Spurs couldn't win it.

Game5 is do-or-die for the Spurs. Lose Game5 and it's very probably Suns in WCF.

Very well said. We'll see what this year's squad is truly made of in game 5. Gotta admit, what we saw in game 4 was pretty discouraging. If we manage to blow this series, it should be a hell of an off-season. 2 second round exits in a row is a fireable offense, IMO.

Any other coach in the NBA would not have left Duncan out for so long, and that's very worrying.

Game 5 hinges on Manu Ginobili removing his head from his ass.

If we manage to blow this series, it should be a hell of an off-season.

How much confidence could there even be in this coming offseason after what they did last summer?

The entire MLE on two subpar guys, only one of them plays and he's terrible and justifiably barely gets minutes.

And they're stuck with them for next year too. Even if anyone holds out hope for Butler (who I never liked), I would hope everyone realizes now what was easily seen before the signings: that Elson is a 5/5 3rd stringer who isn't good enough/smart enough to be any better. And in the playoffs he's even worse. Another year in the system won't change anything for all the glass-half-full types out there.

Once again the Spurs will be faced with using the same roster that lost in 06 that is another year older.

Hopefully the draft is a lifesaver.

The Spurs are a great Road Playoff team. They will get either game 5 or game 7. My guess is game 5 and win it at home in 6.

surely one of you guys has their road stats against Phoenix and other playoff series.

WTF? You nervous bitches make me sick. What exactly is the problem? Oh no, we have a real series. 2-2. I guess success breeds stupidity.

they can definitely win. but game 5 is a must win. whoever wins that game will most likely win this series.

There is no momentum which carries over from a previous game. Each game is different and a new game with a 0-0 starting score.
