They might just be getting a page prepared if suspensions are announced. Kinda like how news websites will write obituaries for celebrities before they even die, just to have them ready. :lol

It looks like the writer wrote it but hasn't published it yet, right?

I am guessing he might just be anticipating :lol

no. I it's an abbreviation of the actual article:
http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/articles/sunssuspension-CR.html

Man In Black

That ain't it. That particular article talks about a possible suspension.

The link says they got suspended.

If Amare and Diaw are both suspended, you can consider this series over.

We can beat the Spurs without Amare, because Diaw tends to pick up the slack in his absence. You take both players away and we stand absolutely no chance. Tim Duncan will eat us alive.

nope.

He's not jerking anything. The link is titled this - Amaré, Diaw suspended
but it just goes to this page ..

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns//0515sunssuspension-ON.html

So I'm assuming the writer wrote an article saying they are suspended and just hasn't published it yet.

Thats interesting. I checked AZcentral.com both news and sports before posting that. Checked it again after your post and still not there...just the article titled "Amare, Diaw facing suspension?"

Just reading those comments makes me laugh because for the longest the Spurs have been considered a group of softies who don't lay people out. Now in a matter of 4 games the Spurs have become the biggest bunch of "project punks" (as on comment read), thugs, bullies and above all dirty. This has to be the fastest complete team turnaround in the history of the four major sports. It usually takes years to get reputations like this. I must say I'm impressed.

That's what I'm saying. The article isn't published yet. It's just listed in the RSS feed.

Go to the feed page:

www.azcentral.com/rss/feeds/thesuns.xml#0

You'll see the title "Amaré, Diaw suspended".

Click on it.

It goes to this page - http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns//0515sunssuspension-ON.html which is not an active page. It looks like he wrote the story with that title, it just hasn't published yet.

The article that RSS feed is supposed to point to is on the front page of the Sports section of the site--and it's definitely a question. Very poor work by the guys at the Republic for that.

I think it's a bad link and that the story is just a PLACEHOLDER until they can get the copy uploaded.
