Sounds like a racist issue to me. And I don't ever pull out that card.

Some of the New Zealand Tall blacks wear t shirts under there jerseys. probably cause of their really skinny arms

Bingo.

Skinny college players wear shirts under their jerseys. There's really no rhyme or reason to it other than to not appear as skinny, I guess. Players in the NBA would probably do it too, if it wasn't against league rules.

Then why does kobe get to wear a shirt under his jersey? I know it's sleeveless, but if ipods are illeagal, shouldn't tanktops be also?

Because Kobe is "God" to the NBA. How fun is it to watch him gun and gun and them lose to the Kings at home!

I know I saw him (Kobe) wear a 'shirt' with sleeves last season. It was skintight, but still a shirt. What gives??

Last night vs SAC, Kobe was wearing an undershirt under his game shirt.

The first college player I recall doing it was Patrick Ewing when he was at G'town. They said that he was prone to catching colds wearing the typical jersey, but it never seemed to slow him down in the NBA. :lol After that, it became a fashion statement.

Yeah, I was going to bring that up. That used to be the excuse.

That might be why some players wear tanktops under their jerseys currently. And it's not just Laker players, I see it on various players around the league.

Why does Malik Rose get to wear more than 4 pairs of shorts at the same time?

I think of HS when all the self consious-pussy-ugly bodied players would do that.

Never heard that one before.

Tim has confessed that he wears his warmup shorts backwards during practices and shootarounds, because once in college he had done so accidentally and had a really good practice. :king

I think the little training bra that Kobe got to wear last year is because of his bum shoulder.

Or maybe it just helps him rape better.
