Duncan has to nurse his fouls

The Spurs unraveled after TD had to go to the bench after picking up his fifth foul. I cringed when he picked up the charge for his 4th then came the 5th with Amare on the bench and the Spurs with the lead and the opportunity to pad it even more.. what a golden opportunity wasted. I also wonder if the outcome might have been different if Pop had kept him in the game till the buzzer.. he means so much to the flow of team that I would have taken the gamble that he wouldn't pick up his 6th.

I don't believe the refs would have fouled Duncan out but just to get him to the 5th foul. The same for Stoudemire. The calls were clearly bogus, at least the last 2, period. But I agree he should have stayed the rest of the period.

Blah blah...TD has never been a foul-prone player and knows how to stay out of foul trouble. Stop whining about the refs already.
