View Full Version : Does anyone else besides me fear a spurs injury?

Guys, I have a feeling the suns players, specifically raja bell, will come out w/ so much intensity and reckless abandon that someone will be injured. The first player that comes to mind is poor manu, already worthy of looking as if he was mistaken for a punching bag. The way he drives to the hole with reckless abandon and intensity will, I have a feeling, be matched by his defender: raja bell. His style of play, particularly his defense, is tinkering on the edge of emotionally uncontrollable and excessive, just a step away, maybe a "hip check" to his loverboy Nash away from being violent and criminal.
God, please let Manu get through this night.

I'm more worried about the typical late game collapse we've become so used to seeing.

yeah, there's definitely the potential for bell to do something stupid in game 5. then i guess sun fan will claim that the spurs being "dirty" made the suns "dirty".

i don't think raja would risk being suspended like that in this situation. i doubt anything will happen.

Oh, I imagine the NBA will be looking very closely for signs of retaliation by the Suns, and if they do try to retaliate, the consequences will be immense.
If anybody pulls something, it will be a fan.

you can forget about collapse if one of our big three gets injured, because it'll be over, we won't be in position to collapse

I don't worry about a spurs injury. Unless they attack each other.

No way. They will be watched like hawks tonight. You think some cheap shit won't be anticipated?

the league can be ready to anything they want but a manu loss is worse for us than a bell loss is for them.

There will be no injuries from any player from Phoenix, but there might be some fan problems...those desert dwellers are pretty much like raving lunatics....I think that 110 temp just fries their brains, to be honest.

Bavetta will be in the house, which mean that there will be fouls called for any little touches....that favors Phoenix, IMO.

Yeah, the sun fans may be a problem. How will they handle the situation when we discover who the spurs are after next?

quit dumping on him dumper. He has the potential to score thrity a game, like he showed in game 3. he is one of three, maybe four (w/ findog) that can do that. We need is intensity on d also.

On who? Besides the Suns... If anyone does anything, it will probably be a fan. We have some ghetto-scrappy thugs here with enough drug money to buy close seats.

It does sometimes, especially when we're dealing with a bunch of douchebags from Texas.

Don't you have something better to do, like kidnapping a British royal?

The Suns would be extremely stupid to do anything dangerous and would deserve any consequences.
They need to just do what they've been doing and trust a couple role players to step up.

Agreed.
The refs are going to have a very short fuse tonight. Any uprisings will be quelled quickly and decisively.
The Spurs should have no worries.
