The Suns are claiming that Tim Duncan left the bench after Elson hung on the rim in the 3rd quarter... is this true and if so do you think the league will suspend Duncan

Not gonna happen because they already ruled that when he did step onto the court, there was no altercation going on.

I think it was more of a concern for Elson. He was taking slow steps, not tearing ass to get to where the action was.

This was just the Phoenix reaction after they realized Amare and Diaw had done screwed the pooch.

At the time it happened no one said one word about it, because there was no altercation on the floor.

Then I think it was Kerr that initially brought it up. That they would need to suspend Duncan and Bowen for the same thing.........Wrong again Steve....

Kind of like his broadcasting buddy saying Amare was just getting up to check in, then Amare using that as his excuse.

Yes, Duncan stepped out onto the court a bit when he saw that Elson was slow getting up, and was probably going to see if he was okay. When Elson got up, Duncan immediately went back to the bench. The NBA did review that incident, but there was no altercation at that time, so there was no suspension.

The league already looked it and decided their was no altercation at the time.

There's already multiple threads about this.

Here's one

There's many others.

What's really funny is that the Suns and their fans complain about how stupid the rule is and that it shouldn't be enforced on Amare, while in the same breath trying to get Timmy suspended for violating the rule that they think is stupid. That's called playing both sides, and I'm surprised how few people recognize that as a sign of desperation.

I wonder if Golden State will be able to finish off the Mavs, or if Dallas will come back and win in 7?
