The booing doesn't bother me; it's part of the game. But you would think security there would find whoever threw the bottle and ban them from future games. Something like that is not only immediately dangerous, but, thrown at the wrong person, could spark a riot.

The Phoenix fans were cool during Game 1, but last night brought a beast of a different nature. They were way out of control! I know this may seem weak, but I was incredibly bothered by some guy who kept hitting me with a cheer stick. I tried being cool to no avail. Finally, midway through Q3, I had enough, grabbed it out of his hand, and popped it. I almost got kicked out of the arena over the whole thing. The whole scene was quite the spectacle.

Awesome. But, you violated the rule which means an automatic suspension for Game 7 (but we win in 6 so it doesn't matter). Rule states you must first issue verbal assault before physical violence by threatening to 1)stick the cheer stick up his ass, 2)kick him in the achilles tendon, 3)knee him in the coin purse and 4)bounce him off the scorer's table. Then, if he continues, you may then pop the fucking cheer stick.

Were they doing it on purpose? I've had this happen to my bf at the AAC (mavs fans attending a game in s.a.) but he didn't do anything because it was an older Mexican lady. The cheer stick suck, that's cool that you popped it though, some people are just fucking rude and think it's fair game to do whatever to a fan from an opposing team who bought a ticket like everyone else.

And when he's pissed there's nothing that can stop him.
I think we've all had enough of the Suns and their fans whining. I think the Spurs have too. It's time to end this and it will be Duncan that makes sure it gets done. Whether he fills a stat line himself or rallies his team around him won't matter. What matters is that it will get done.

It was not incidental contact! He kept talking trash and hit me every time the Suns scored. The only reason I wasn't kicked out of the arena was because the Suns fans seated next to me backed me up on the whole thing.

The highlight was when I stared him down when we finally took the lead. He called me a bitch and I called his mother a whore... his friends loved it and bought me a couple of cocktails after the game.

Nice. :lol :lol

Just laugh Tim. Crack a smile. Lighten up. Dont skulk away like "That shit aint funny!' Youre not the first or the last to have that happen to.

This is the team and fans that have been whining about the tiny amount of contact their players have gotten? Please. Flinging a plastic water bottle to defend a 6' 10" infant that nearly burst into tears on the court because he got the back of his shoe stepped on just endangers all the fragile Arizona denizens in the vicinity. Someone could have gotten their achilles tendon dislocated!

I think the microfracture surgery story was to cover the fact that Amare skinned his knee getting out of his Barbie Corvette and had to sit out a year.

"WTF is that guy talking about?"

It's a Spurs history classic.

Playoffs in the old Hemisfair Arena.

Brown the opposing coach.

Brown makes a Phil Jacksonesque comment that San Antonio is a shitty town and the only thing about it that is good is the Guacamole.

Baseline Bums dumped a big bowl of guacamole on his head as he was going down the tunnel during the game.

I am talking about the game on another thread. This thread is about a water bottle being thrown at Tim Duncan. If YOU want to talk about the game then do so, but one fan can ignite a fire man just look at what happend in Detroit. Detroit fans are cool and for the most part so are Suns fans but you cant condone it IF it happened.
