since(and including) the 1999 playoffs, the spurs are an AMAZING 14-3 in game 5's. including 3-0 in the finals.

I dont really have a point with this post, other than i found it very interesting. Game 5 is usually the most pivotal game in the series and the Spurs shine the brightest when they need to.

Spurs are awesome period...they almost gave the game away last nite and that would have been a bigbig choke, spurs fans have the luxury of knowing their team is a contender so long as Duncan still plays

.4 was the Worst Game 5 ever, while Horry in Detriot was probably the best. But I agree, they really are integral to the outcome of a series which is why we are all relieved that we pulled it out last night.

your point is that when the money game is on the line, the spurs flat out find a way to get it done.

Let it be known the only 3 that they lost.....

1. To the mavs, they won the series anyway.
2. Lakers- the lucky .4
3. Lakers- They won the title that year.

Most of those game 5's, I imagine, were at home.

so yeah only 6 away games to 11 home games, however ALL 3 Finals game 5s were on the road, and they won them all.
