You know how sometimes when you're dropping a nice deuce, and then you start to urinate, and you know at the end - against your will - you'll just clench it off, hard-like, and it hurts like a sonuvabitch?

And the harder you try not to do it, and the more you think that, this time, you're not going to, the sharper and more intense the pain?

That's what a Spurs-Pistons final is going to be like. 85-80 scores and 38% shooting for both teams. Woohoo!

Each possession will take 22 seconds off the shot clock, there will be 2-3 fast breaks per game, and if somebody breaks 90 confetti will fall from the rafters.

It is not time to talk about the finals.

Now is the perfect time to talk about the Finals. Spurs got this tonite and they won't have any problems with Utah. Pistons will take out LBJ and his fambly in 6.

If all the NBA games featured as much drama and grit as taking a very difficult bathroom break I'd watch them all. Hell, I think I would rather go take a difficult shit than even think about the Nets/Cavs. You want ugly, there it is. How in the hell does a team score 6 points in a quarter and still win big?!?!

What you should really worry about is that if the Spurs win tonight it's going to be Spurs/Jazz, a series that will resemble hockey in both physicality and score.

LOL @ MavericksDynasty.

Obviously, it's a difference of opinion, but I much prefer hard, defensive struggles than just watching a 3-point shooting contest....

There was nothing more painful to watch than that Nets/Cavs 4th quarter. It got so painfully bad that I started flipping through the channels looking for a Becker rerun.

I was too busy with my According to Jim and Benson dvds to notice that the Eastern Conference playoffs were still going on. Didn't they automatically award that to Detroit?

They should, it would cause alot less pain and misery. Nets/Cavs is getting so bad that on my Tivo I'm fast forwarding through the games so that I can watch all of the Closer promos.

I hereby bestow upon LeBron one Schrutebuck for his team's riveting performance down the stretch in Game Five.

Awww NBA fans won't like our Spurs being in the finals if they make it there. Well I really don't care what other NBA fans think. I'm a Spurs fan, and it will not be boring to see them in the finals for me thats for sure.

I would love nothing more than a Part Deux to the 2005 finals.

I know the Pistons fans a drooling over the possibility.

And it does not surprise me a stupid Dallas fan would not see it.

Only because I'll be glued in front of the tv watching The Closer, only on TNT.

^ Actually I think there's probably a Law and Order rerun I can catch in lieu of Spurs-Pistons. That Jerry Orbach was a great actor, and he had a great sense for comic timing.

Thanks to Golden State and 3 referees, it never took place. We can control being the best team in the NBA, but we can't control getting screwed by the refs.

I would rather watch that one movie where she's the President's daughter or undergo a rusty nail in my bloody stool than watch one more minute of Nets/Cavs.

You can't be serious! How many Mav players were ejected, given Techs etc. You guys got screwed by Dirk's non existent playoff performance. Deal with that you whiny bitches. If you don't want to watch the finals, don't. You will miss an awesome series, very competitive. Not one team choking like last years final.

The refs gave that series to Golden State. Period. Non Spurs homers can agree and acknowledge that. It was a travesty of justice unparalled since the refs gave our title to Miami last year.

I forgot the Mavs fans idea of a great finals is watching thier own team choke in the finals and then blaming it on the refs.

The first 2 and a half games when we demonstrated our superiority was great. The last 3 and a half when Stern and the League came out against us, not so much, you are right.

pussyface.

I'd much rather jack it to pictures of Danny DeVito wearing a ball gag & garter than I would to pictures of Lebron driving the ball to the hoop on Mikki Moore.

STFU, you just keep saying the same thing. You will not stop crying about the refs until you win a ring, even then you will probably complain that you should have won the series sooner, due to bad officiating.

I'm not crying or complaining, that's just how it is, Stern and the refs feel threatened by us and took it away. That's life. Just stating facts. You seem to be the one insecure about things. Perhaps it has something to do with being eliminated at the hand of the Mighty Mavericks last year. Only Shaq/Kobe and Dirk have sent Tim Duncan home.
