I just thought I would ask would you rather face a team that you could just beat up on like Jersey or The Cavs or do you want Detroit?

If the Spurs don't make it, I'd want the Pistons to win it all. They are the only respectable team left alive.

But as long as the Spurs are alive, they are the only team I'll care about winning. If number 4 goes through East Rutherford, so be it.

They are the best, and the Spurs want to beat the best, I am sure.

DETROIT.

I <3 detroit, and I respect them alot.
I know it would be a tough series - but entertaining as all hell.

Actually I find Detroit play a little boring.

They dont do pick-and-rolls at all.

Its mostly either a Chauncey jumpshot, a Hamilton fadeaway, a Tayshaun back-down-and-hook shot or a Sheed 10-12 feet fadeaway or his occasional wing three pointer.

But Detroit all the way if Spurs dont make it. :toast

If the Spurs lose Detroit. But if we go to the finals anyone else. Screw entertaining and competitive.

I don't like the Nets. I wouldn't mind the Cavs, but I prefer the Pistons.

Pistons for sure, though I picked the Bulls to come out of the East(lol). Screw the ratings, that matchup is fun to me.

That's what I thought until .....

I noticed Pistons fans started coming out of the woodwork on another ( football ) board I go to and it jarred my memory of what arrogant jerkoffs they were. ( Rasheed is classy !!! ) F'in please ......

Given that, I'd like to play 'em just to beat 'em down, again.

For a good series, Pistons. For an easy series, Cavs or Nets.

A rematch of the 05 finals would be great including the result.:)

considering Cav/Nets Game 6 halftime score (+15), it is not going to be the Nets ...

At this point, I only know who I want to come out of the west.

Pistons. Media and NBA "fans" who know jack about basketball will whine like banshees but that's the most interesting match-up.

i really wanted the Bulls in the finals, but they choked in the end:cry

of course CLEVELAND. I'm still amazed how Amare's one the NBA 1st team and LeBron's not. Plus Cleveland is also known as the understudy of the Spurs team...Patterned after the Spurs.
Really like and the GM(player) & Coach(asst- Coach) who were ex-Spurs.

and i think it's EASY to beat them than Detroit :D

actually I always thought we got along very well with DET fans here on this board.
Last time we were running for the finals together there were very few dumbass Pistons trolls and alot of smart, funny DET fans who came over and had something constructive to contribute. Alot of them stayed.

I want clevelend or nj. Not because I like cleveland...but because after the Jazz series I dont think we will have much left in the tank.

It'd only be fitting to have a rematch with the best in the east -pistons. Gotta watch out for the Sterniers in the east though

i actually think Stern would want LeBron to be in the NBA finals---------->:greedy:greedy :greedy
no offense meant to Detroit or Nets. James in the finals will be an exciting feature to watch against any team in the West.
