I guess I was oblivious but I see that fan nation basically hates the Spurs, which is interesting going into this because I thought everyone hated Utah for being in Utah. However, fan and media nation has called out the Spurs as the leagues biggest whiners, which is hard for a Jazz fan to believe having just played the Warriors. Are you guys whiners? Or is it just the refs, hee hee hee? Man, Stern must be beside himself. Whiner Spurs and Boring Utah.

Last year, the Spurs whined so much it even annoyed Spurs fans.
They've calmed it down this year, though.
But since fans and media are irritated and frustrated to see, once again, those boring, small-market, bland Spurs in the WCF, they're going to throw the labels around like monkeys fling their own poo.

Suns whined so much this series, top to bottom, that it wasn't even funny. Media gave them a free pass on nearly all of it.

How many quotes can you remember about the Spurs whining this series?
Now, compare that number with D'Antoni, Amare, their GM, ect.
Exactly.
We whine in-game to the refs... but so does every team in the NBA. The Suns cried to the MEDIA. How pathetic.

The Spurs are getting every label because everyone wants the And-1 team to go to the Finals and they can't do it without help from the refs and the league.

Don't expect that out of Utah. If I was Pop I would tell them to put a lid on it, Jazz have gotten inside Houston'[s and Warriors's heads by walking away from fouls, no bitching. Think about it, you don't whine in-game, who the refs going to give the call to late? Sloan's genius, or character, shining.

The Spurs are used to tough basketball and not bitching about it. Both teams should bring it. I was so disappointed with the way the Suns sucked any fun out of the series by being complete little twats. Looking forward to an enjoyable series that is largely undiscussed by the media.

Media who make a living off the ads they sell and streetball NBA fans would rather have teeth pulled without Novocaine than have the Spurs win another title. If they could blame 9/11 and global warming on the Spurs they would.

If only they'd bother to watch, they could have sold the Spurs and the Pistons as exciting, talented basketball teams. They should at least have tried, since it's a good bet that both are going to make a dent in the playoffs every year. They have the Spurs as their villains, and they'll milk that as long as nobody bothers to fact check their stories, and they can pray that the Cavs figure out a way to beat the Pistons, but all they'll end up with is rug burns.

Funny thing is the team the ad execs are praying gets to the finals, the Cavs, plays the crappiest basketball of all teams left.

This WCF is David Stern's BIG MARKET wet dream.
Yet he still didn't fuck one of his smallest most unpopular teams when he had the chance, and the whole world was going to give him a pass for doing it.

Umm actually, I think he would have rather had the Mavs-Suns, Suns-Suns, Mavs-Mavs, Lakers-Mavs, or Lakers-Lakers.

Ummm, gotta beat the boring Jazz first. The Boring vs. the Whiners, match made in heavan. Actually, for true ball fans, this should be good.

You can't blame Stern for wanting the biggest, most popular markets playing for obvious reasons. But you can't say he's intentionally tried to hinder the Spurs chances.

Dude, you really need to brush up on your reading comprehension skills. I said that they needed to promote San Antonio and Detroit because both of them go deep into the playoffs a lot, which is true. I never said anything about the Jazz or made a prediction of any sort.
Just relax. There's plenty of time. Nobody is paying attention to you yet. I know you are excited, but didn't you think this series was going seven? We'll get to you soon enough.

The Spurs are the league's biggest winners.
