I'm leery of today's game. The table is set for a letdown game, so much so that I think the Spurs may surprise me. I expect Robert Horry, well rested, to play significant minutes and come up big on the defensive end. Tim will be Tim...hopefully the rest of the guys can find some juice. Okur is the one who worries me most. Oberto, Horry, and Elson need to stay on him and keep him from getting good looks and keep Duncan out of foul trouble.

I don't see Bowen guarding Boozer ever. He will spend lots of time on Williams, and I reckon Kirilenko.

Okur could be trouble if he's hitting from outside, drawing Tim out. Oberto and/or Horry will defend Boozer to try to keep Tim out of foul trouble. There will be some interesting matchups here.

I think the key to this series will be Ginobili getting to the rim and he along with Michael Finley and, to a lesser extent, Bruce Bowen being able to hit some shots against Jazz's stingy matchup zone/man defense.

I just hope the Spurs can muster enough energy to get it done today. The good news is they've been at home since Friday's game, and I don't doubt their mental toughness. Physically, the guys under 30 should only need 24 hours to recover from a tough workout/game. Yesterday they just did film and a walkthrough. All in all not a terrible situation. They should be ready. If they were playoff novices, one would worry about a mental letdown, but I think they've been there enough to know that losing to the Jazz and being forced to win in Utah is not an ideal situation.

Each series has been a challenge, more difficult as we advance,IMO. I expect this to be a great series. I think this will be a 7 game drag out battle. I think the Spurs will advance to the Finals and a rematch of the 2005 Finals with Deeeeeeetroit will be an worthy entry into NBA Basketball history.
