Seriously. Not even 1% worried.
As much as this board likes to admit it, the Spurs are f***ing solid, and no one left in the playoffs has a shot.
Am I wrong?

Yes. The playoffs can change in an instant.

As soon as we beat the Suns in game 6, all worry in my mind ceased to exist. In my opinion, it is a cakewalk to the Finals. Most of the Spur's fans wil say that the series is never over, and anything can happen in the playoffs, but the reality is - we are the big dog in a small yard.

True...it is NEVER good to do that. However.

I think pistons and spurs finish their series in 4 or 5 games
I think both will not want the other one rested up and do their best to finish them off

Spurs have already conquered their greatest challengein the year's playoffs, the Suns. They can only beat themselves at this point, of which, unfortunately, they are capable.

stop jinxing!!!
Utah is a very good team at their homecourt. they can easily take this to 6 or 7, then you'll know how stupid you're being
I agree, I don't worry too much, don't even bother to wear my lucky Manu jersey, havent worn it since game 3 vs. Suns.
but still I respect Utah and this won't be too easy

believe me. if i had the power to jinx the spurs it would have happened in 05 when I posted Go Spurs Go posters in my dorm and ordered everyone a Spurs 2005 NBA Championship DVD before the finals started. Eeeeee....ty Robert Horry.

They are always tough, but I don't see Detroit with the potential to run away with the game or come back from a tremendous deficit with a scoring flurry like the Suns. Also, unlike the Phoenix series, the Spurs would have the luxury of HCA this time around.

This Utah team can beat us... though they honestly aren't as big a threat as the Suns were... they arent that big of a headache...
If anyone here has any illusions of an easy finals against the Pistons they are fucking stupid... they were the best team left in the playoffs besides us when the playoffs started.

I dont see how you guys are having these discussions???????????????? :wtf :wtf :wtf
we've won ONE game this series....
if we lose on tues all we're gonna see is a bunch of threads freakin out.
I still pick the spurs in 6, and i think we'll win tues, but i'm not gonna act like this series is over.

This will be a tough series i think i still say Spurs in 6. The Pistons i think we will face again and i like the way we match up with them better this time mainly because Ben Wallace is gone. Rasheed and him did a great job on Timmy in the 05 finals but Webber can't check Tim or anyone for that matter so Tim should put up big numbers against them.

How do we even know it will be Detroit in the Finals? I can't sell LeBron short. He's been getting a lot of media criticism lately - most of it baseless - and it may just serve to be the impetus he needs to hoist his team to the next level. Being from Ohio, I would love to see a Spurs/Cavs series.

I know it's not likely to happen. But stranger things have happened (Warriors over 67-win Mavs).

that was not strange
everyone thinks so but GS OWNED mavs all year it was not a fluke
I called it 2 weeks before the playoffs started
i'd bust out into tears of joy if the cavs won, but it's not going to happen...and with my luck the spurs would get upset

Yeah, I know GS won 3 out of the 4 games with Dallas in the regular season, but the playoffs are usually a different animal. I'm rarely surprised by any playoff upset, but that was one. I would have lost a lot of money on that series had I been a betting person.

Won't be not worried until after Game 4.
It's nowhere near over yet. All we've done is what we expected to do. We held homecourt. We have, in two games, dropped 20+ point leads to single digits. We've had a ludicrous number of turnovers. We lost the rebounding in game 1. Defense has been spotty and they've settled for too many jumpshots strung together.
That shit won't cut it in Utah. Utah will only look better and have more energy. They'll have an energetic crowd.
I think they can fix that stuff and win one in Utah, maybe end this is 5. But I'm not about to jump for joy and haul out the brooms.

Utah series is over. Period.
Now, I don't think Cavs are ready yet for the finals. They should have closed that game out last night. Piston has more team than Utah and might scratch one or two games. It has worse team than in 05 in my opinion.
