Not only are their commentators robot-like in their comments (for example,"The Mavericks and the Suns are the two best teams in the NBA"), all they do is broadcast games with Kobe and LeBron. I remember a week this season where LeBron was on ESPN Wed. night, then ESPN Fri. night, then ABC on Sunday afternoon. They are ignoring all the old-school basketball talent for players like LeBron and flashy overrated teams like Phoenix and Dallas, hyping and hyping and hyping, saying we're going to see so-and-so contending for the championship this year. If they start building up the right hype for the real talented teams in the NBA that actually make it through the entire playoffs, and not overrated fluke jump shooting first and second round teams like Dallas and Phoenix, they might keep casual fans' attention throughout the entire playoffs.

ABC is horrible, horrible, horrible. Put the Spurs/Jazz WCF on "NBA on NBC", and you will see better ratings.

Ratings don't matter anyway, just mentioning it though.

How many more times are we going to see Lakers vs. Heat on Christmas?
