Yup.

Portland is filled with talent.

Jack, Roy, Randolph, Aldridge, Oden.

Sonics?

Ridnour, Allen, Lewis?, Durant, Sene?

Wherever Oden doesn't.

Either Jailblazers or Sonics.

the EAST needs more depth.... This is severely lopsided. I thought the draft was designed to level things out!

Boston is cursed or what ? Well, they got plenty of rings from the past, now they have to pay their 'due' as cellar dweller for another decade. :lol

Seattle won't be moved next year. Maybe the year after.

As for the conference, they ought to consider realignment. This is just getting sad. But they won't until they know what is happening with Seattle.

Portland will be good, but most likely still a first round playoff exit as their young team adjusts and learns what playoff basketball is like.

I'm not too worried, the blazers wont be able to pay all those contracts, on top of the fact that the blazers managment handles their talent about as well as isaiah did with NY

Blazers have plenty of money to throw around once Miles is "waived". This Blazer management is not the Shawn Kemp, Scottie Pippen, Ruben Patterson management team.

Portland is good, they didn't beat San Antonio in the Garden this year, but there was an energy level that I haven't seen in Portland in quite some time (their last big playoff run).

If they get the right coach, Seattle and Portland make the playoffs.

Book it.

Golden State and Lakers fall out.

Wow portland is gonna be a monster...

Not right away though they have missed the playoffs the last few years so just getting Oden is not going to make them a title contender right away. How Randolph plays with Oden is the biggest factor in how good they will be right away.

yeah, cause it's not like they gave Zach Randolph a max contract or something

They already matched up very well last season!

I don't really care about Randolph despite his stats. What I took away from those games they played against the Spurs last season is that the future of portland = Lamarcus Aldridge + Brandon Roy.

This team has the potential to be better than Golden state, the Lakers, and may be even houston. However, while it all looks good on paper, we do need to remember how Denver fared with its 2 super stars.

Wow.

As if the freaking West wasn't tough enough........Sux.

I hope they trade the picks to an Eastern team.

Let's not just hand Portland and Seattle a spot in the playoffs just yet. Might want to first wait and see how these guys handle the big time. And how guys like Randolph, Roy, and Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis are willing to share the "star" spot.

Lot's of things can go wrong with a college "hot shot", when they hit the big time.

I think we wait and see how they actually play and adjust before we grant them super team powers.

This is the West.....and the West is full of talented players. These two are going to have to "make their bones" against some of the best in the business.

Man, Portland is going to be very good. Unless Randolph regresses considerably, but even then, they've got so much talent and so many complimentary parts.

Eh, count me as one of the ones not sold on Portland yet. By the time Oden is adjusted to the NBA he'll be off to NY. :lol
