Seriously, Fabricio Oberto has been clutch so far in this series, but doesn't ever get his due. He at least deserves a nickname at this point in his tenure with the spurs, so "FABO"? Or something else? But yeah, lets give him the credit he deserves

I thought Fabulous Fabricio was his nickname?
Oh, and there have been plenty of "we love Fabs" threads. Check out "The Other Argentinian"

I'll give him some credit for reading when to cut beautifully.
But it's easy to do that when your defender (Boozer) is staring at the ball with complete disregard to Fabo's whereabouts.

Fabs has been playing great ball before we even played Utah. But this Utah series has made him look pretty damn amazing.

That play was so funny watching boozer staring at manu and then with the SUPREMELY late reaction to Fab.

I just call him Jesus.
So when he makes a layup or rebound, I sound like an evangelical "Thank You, Jesus!".

We used to always call Johnny Damon that a couple of years ago. Especially when he bailed the Sox out against the Yanks.

I'll agree he's been great at his assignments, but CLUTCH? No, that only refers to consistently making a very good play in the waning moments when the pressure reaches it's apex. When most players fold and you focus, THAT'S clutch. He doesn't really do much that's clutch, just plays well.

Ok, I'll agree with that. But he hasn't exactly folded in moments where he was needed to be clutch either. While you can't say hes clutch, you also can't say he isn't. The guy just has tremendous focus. Whether its the first possession of the game...or the last, the guy always seems to be there to play.
