with your knowledge of the team...know your players.

Dude came into my office and said "Spurs fan huh?" I mentioned that I moved here from SA and was still a big fan. Then he pointed to my autographed picture of Sean Elliott and said "That's probably why you have Tim Duncan on your wall."

:lol

You live in Lansing, MI right? Please tell me that the dumbass is a Michigan State fan. That would make my day to see a Sparty called out to be a true dipshit. Now, if it was a University of Michigan fan, they must've had a bad day or be on some medication that decreases their brain functioning.

Didn't Michigan fans want Drew Henson starting over Tom Brady?

Yes, there were quite a few that wanted Henson to be the full time qb, at that time Henson had more potential, and we wanted to see what he could do given the full time responsibilty. Every fall I still tell my fellow Wolverine fans how flabergasted I am that Tom Brady is one of the best players in all of football. I never ever saw any of what he has done coming. Now, we also wanted Carr to pick a guy and go with him. We didn't want the platooning,"Henson gets the second quarter and whoever plays better finishes the game" crap, If it had been full time Brady, then we would've complained if he struggled, but would've understood, b/c he was obviously starting for a reason.

Hell, up here in Dallas I get idiots asking me "so, are you a Spurs fan" whenever I wear my TD jersey. No, you fools, I'm obviously a Seattle Supersonics fan.

Funny tho, unlike earlier in the season nobody has made any snide remarks about the jersey. Wonder why ... :toast

Actually he is based in New Jersey so I doubt he roots for either one. But yes I am in Lansing where the rallying cry is "You can have football...we got basketball and hockey!" :lol

They just have basketball. Michigan's hockey team over the last 15 years has been tremendously better the MSU's. They just got hot at the right time and won this year's tourney.

I am fairly new to the whole MSU-UM thing...it seems very much like A&M-Texas though.

I looked it up and you are correct...over the last 15 years Michigan has been better. They lead the series 32-26-9 in that span. I don't know if that is "tremendously" better because I am still new to college hockey. In football...that is not a huge edge but hockey could be different. I did go to the first MSU-UM game this year at Munn and it was a blast. Seems like a fun sport to watch.

Just ask him why he doesn't recognize Magic Johnson when he sees him?
