Until I heard that Horry isn't going to retire. Then I was able to smile a little, but a great video all the same.

"Robert Horry has done it, again."

Definitely, Chris makes great vids and this is one of my faves for obvious reasons. The music was done by his cousin's band.

Very good video. It was missing some footage I'm very fond of....2005 finals ring a bell.

In case you didn't realize, it was made in 2003 right after Horry signed in SA, would be kinda hard to have 2005 footage in there when it hadn't happened yet.

I guess I should have said, "well it's Laker footage so why should I fuckin' care, right?" Big Rob's Rockets footage had already happened. What is the excuse for all of that great footage missing from the video?

Amateur bullshit...

heh,

I also would have liked to see a full Horry Career highlight spanning from his Houston Rockets to the most recent Spurs big shots.

Horry as a Laker... He was programmed for evil at that time...so I didn't care much for it either, without the other team highlights.

Cool watch, indeed.

It's really strange to have become so fond of somebody that I used to despise so much. But it's another one of those things that makes you realize that there is a big difference between what happens on the court and what happens off of it.

That's not what this vid was for, this was a farewell from a Laker fan.
But I did make a vid that spanned his entire career starting in Houston.

That shot broke the Kings' hearts. They would have won the championship had someone not tipped that ball out to Horry in that game....what a great shot and what horrible luck for Sacto.

I don't think the Kings ever got over it.

Oh ok, my bad.

I guess I was making that comment out of context. I will look for that video, I think I remember seeing some of the youtube mixes for the Spurs players under your name. They were pretty cool. :)

I can't believe they didn't have Duncan and Sprewell scoring something like 30 of 31 straight points in the 4th quarter of game 5 of the 99 Finals or Tim's near quad-double in game 6 of the 03 Finals.

Great video, although some Spur moments would have made it better.

Yeah, Game 5 of the 1999 NBA Finals is my favorite Spurs game of all time...I remember it like it was yesterday. :toast

thanks for the video.
i watched the 2005 DVD last night & i just don't know how to thank Robert Horry for what he has done to help this team win the title that season.
Game 5 in Detroit and that game 7 Clinching 4Qtr....

may he finally find his groove back tonight and make 3s again in Utah. It's been how many games since he made his last shot against the whining Suns? 4 games?

Since it was a King that tipped the ball out to Horry...

that was what I meant by bad luck...the Kings player was making a great play to get the ball away from the basket, and it goes right into Horry's hands and he drains the shot....If I were a Kings' fan, I would have puked.

I attended that game.

Leaving Staples Center that day, Laker fans were in a state of jubilation that I have never seen....not even after championships.

I have a clear memory of some Queens fans with little paper crowns on their heads getting simply abused (verbally only of course, we have class unlike Detroit fan) leaving the building.

The game was so emotional that many of the Queens fans were literally crying leaving the building, I am not exaggerating.

That was one of the great moments in Lakers history, no doubt about it.
