Just got to some whimsical ideas while toking...er thinkin' about WWPD (what would Pop Do?)

Trade #1--Cuban is apparently having second thoughts about letting Finley go--not to mention all that beautiful money he's still paying so.....

Pop and RC engineer a trade of Finley for Nowitski, giving us our LONG THREE and relieving Dallas of a current embarassing MVP choker. Dirk can backup Bowen while he learns the position, professionalism and Spurs system. :elephant

Trade #2: Everyone knows how tight Pop and Brown are. Maybe they got together and made this deal while Larry was still with the Knicks.

Brown: I really like the upside of this kid Butler and would like to coach him.

CIA Pop: Trade him to us. We'll put him in cold storage and when you go to your next team--and there will be another team--then we'll trade him back to you.

Brown: For what. I don't even know where I'll be.

CIA Pop: Whatever your first round pick is? (heh, heh, heh) Deal?

Brown: Deal!

If I was the Spurs GM, I would not trade for that cream puff for all the German marks in the world! There is not one member of the Mavericks that I would want on the Spurs roster. Seriously, name me one!

Come on, lighten up and dream up some CIA Pop trades on your own. We could use a few laughs while waiting for Sat.

Josh Howard would be the only one I'd want to....at least he is good.

We had a chance at him, didn't we? Think Pop traded him before he knew him. :lol

fuck all players on the mavs, the coaches, owner, and organization in general...

not one of those players are spurs worthy. they all deserve to stick together and lose together while our spurs advance to the finals!

Dirk would be fine on the Spurs because he wouldn't have to be the leader. He has at least 4 other people ahead of him on the leadership ladder. And, as the likely 3 all he would have to do is stand out at the 3 line and drill 3 after 3 off of Duncan doubles.

I heard Dwyane Wade wants to come to the West, let's sign him too. I'm sure Holt can more than afford his and Nowitzki's contracts.
