Set the alarm for June 2011. Duncan will be out his prime then.

The nba season is pretty much over for me. The rest of the teams are boring to watch. Spurs are clearly better than everyone left.

Mav fan so if the Spurs seemed to have more comp, would you be watching?

I guess I would. Detroit hopefully brings it but I doubt it.

I think most fans find the playoffs a little less entertaining when their teams get knocked out

I tried to watch the Mavs/Heat Finals last year but I just couldn't stand the Wade free throw line parade.
I love D.Wade and all, but it was just ridiculous.

I think they've been better than last year's and 04's, that's for damn sure. The Cleveland-Detroit series has been very intense, personally I like it. Close, grind-it-out games. They remind me of oldschool NBA playoff games. The Spurs Jazz series, although the Spurs have blown the Jazz out for streches, have still been fun to watch I think. Flashy passes have been very prevalent. I don't see how they are disappointing.

Yep :tu.
Oh, and to make it more exciting, I would suggest rooting against one of the teams remaining that you hate. That makes it more fun. I did that against the Mavs last year and the Lakers in 04 and I was fine :lol.

Your sig banner is pretty tight even though it's the Lakers. Good job.

Well, if they wouldn't schedule a WEEK in between every game, it might be more interesting. Sheesh! Is whatever crappy one-hour drama that ABC wants to show really that important that it couldn't miss a week? And it's not like they won't give up on the show anyway and yank it after 3 episodes anyway ... (e.g., The Nine, November Road, Help me Help You, Black Groundhog Day)
Last night when I was waiting to watch Pirates 3, they had those slides with movie trivia on the screen. One of them said that Jack never misses a Lakers home game and when he's doing a movie schedule, they have to work around the games. I figured Jack did something like that, but never knew for sure. Pretty cool. When I become a big movie star I am going to do the same thing with the Spurs.

I lose interest every year the Spurs get knocked out early. Fortunately, I've been able to enjoy few seasons in their entirety in the last few years. :)

No Finals can ever be as bad as the 2002 Lakers-Nets. Staples sounded like a preseason crowd in games 1 & 2.

I could understand that. I guess it is truly only ever exciting when its your team. Last year I didn't watch the finals Because I thought the mavs were going to win. But then Heat actually started playing and I then I became hooked. :lol Sorry!

I don't know what you're talking about, that was a great series to watch! :ihit :lol
Hey, I understand it's not my team and I understand that it is your team why that you would be so interested, but for others outside of SA, it's boring! I truly hope that the Spurs win this series in 4, the same would apply to the Pistons. Now that's not saying that I'm pulling for those teams because the truth of the matter is, if the Cavs and Jazz were up 2-0, I would pull for them to sweep. Just get these series over with!
If the Pistons and Spurs meet in the finals, it will be another boring contest. You can put me down for at least 2 games. The reason why it will be a boring is because the PIstions and Spurs are both very good defensive teams and very average offensive teams. It will be a defensive battle, that means a bunch of turnovers, a bunch of forced shots, a lot of air balls and bricks and just plain ugly basketball. You need a very good offensive team to go up against a very good defensive team to make the matchups interesting. imo

True basketball fans appreciate the Spurs. And the Pistons.

At least the Spurs can play defense and they are pretty good ofensivly. They do have star power, and I don't see how they are seen as boring.
i dont think the Spurs are boring at all. the reason their series is so boring is because the Jazz arent even showing up. if both teams like to slow it down thats fine, but the Jazz are just not doing anything. it looks like a slow motion beating between George Forman and Oscar De La Hoya. its an ugly mismatch.
if the Pistons and Spurs met in the Finals it would be a great series. i dont see why anyone thinks it is boring.

Didn't anybody ever tell you to always capitalize the letter I? Also, whenever you combine words like do and not, you need to put an apostrophe like this: don't. I'll work on my spelling once you learn how to put a decent sentence together.

Bryant told ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher that he wants the Lakers to bring West back to the organization and give him full authority. If the Lakers don't want to do that, Bryant said he wants to be traded.
