that and plus it was amiracle comeback.

People today would be the same way if they came from 18 down in the 3rd quarter.

ah, those were the good ole' days. I remember paying $2 for parking at the parking lot just across the tracks and walking to the dome. I can't remember what I paid in tickets but I was on the upper deck opposite of Sean Elliott's big shot.

I think I might have been the only person not celebrating when he hit that shot b/c from my angle, I thought he stepped on the line. it was a great game and a memorable season. the heart break ended that season and a long awaited dream became a reality.

Guys, how would you rank Sean Elliott's shot in that game among thhe all time clutch-miracle playoff shots of all time? Compare it to Jerry West's half court heave to force overtime, or Rex Chapman's falling down fadeaway three on the wing, Gar Heard's shot versus the Celtics and Ralph Sampson's corkscrew alley oop versus the Lakers. Does Elliott's tippy toes three pointer rank in the top 5 all time?

It was a horrible shot... If it dosent go in we are talking about that shot attempt like we talk about Rod Strikland's over the head behind the back pass...

But he made it.. so it was awesome...

But . . . he didn't. :elephant

Well, and let's not forget one of the most amazing points, so far as I am concerned. Sean Elliot was undergoing daily dialysis due to kidney problems. A few weeks after that game he underwent kidney replacement. I know most of us know that, but that's what I think of every time I see that shot and it's amazing what he was able to do, mostly through sheer force of will, I think.

It really was different back in those days. SA fans are a pitiful joke today compared to what they were in the 1990's.

maybe that's because I've yet to see a game at the AT&T

Sean was seriously in the zone, like McGrady was in that game where he scored 13 in the final 45 seconds to beat the Spurs.

The acoustics of the Dome killed noise. The acoustics of the AT&T amplify it.

Fans really were that much louder back then.
