AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 16 (Ticker) -- Rasheed Wallace arrived at The Palace of Auburn Hills Thursday wearing a Philadelphia Flyers jersey of Dave Schultz, who was known as "The Hammer."

He and the rest of the Detroit Pistons brought it down hard on the San Antonio Spurs.

Wallace had his best game of the series with 14 points, eight rebounds and two blocks as the Pistons used brute force to nail the Spurs, 102-71, and even the NBA Finals at two games each.

"They were physical again, and they got us on our heels again, we reacted very poorly to it, and you see the result," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said.

True.

And this thread was started in 2007 after Game 3 against the Jazz when the Jazz destroyed the Spurs. Their fans were crazy, they were hitting all their shots and Duncan was horrible.

Game 4 was a different story.

We can't help it. We have been a Championship team for a long time. We can't think any different even if it doesn't make sense. We will always have hope that these Spurs can do it again. It's just the way it is.:flag:

I think the Spurs can lose this series, but I don't think last night's game was at all proof that the Spurs can't win this series. I think that's a pretty big difference.

The bump should be to remind Spurs fans that we've seen playoff trouncings before and that good things can still happen after one of those asskickings has been delivered. In fact, it's happened several times before.

So... who's going to play as Manu, and who's going to play as Horry?

Seriously though, I'll stop believing when they lose four. Regulators.

We may lose in the 2nd round, that's VERY possible. But we are NOT going away quietly against a gutless Mavs team. Rebump this when you beat us and advance to the 2nd round, and then talk your trash.

Its NBA basketball and anything can happen. You did a lot wrong tonight but here are the major ones:

- you let butler get hot
- by the blow out score, you let Dirk and the gang rest. I know your guys got rested too, but it wouldve been a better situation with a closer game.
- Mavs finally figured out how to take it to the rack.
-you let us figure out how to run on you. If we run the floor, we score more. (thats patent pending so dont use it)

faggot? really? wasnt it one of your own that was bitching about a mavs radio guy calling you dirty mexicans? hipocrits.

Keep looking into the past. but when your time is done and its 5-10 yrs down the road, that "4 rings" comeback will be even more irrelevant than it is now. You guys dont get it. Nobody cares about your rings other than you. Why must you always resort to that? Bring some basketball knowledge to the table. And i cant stress enough, its 3 1/2 rings.
