Probably looked like the Boston Celtics draft lottery post-party

They are in my camera and I can't get them out.

The place where you put in the USB cord - that tab is apparently bent or broken. I need to have LJ look at it and see if he can fix it when he wakes up.

It's not a regular memory card. It's that really small XD card. I don't know if I can put that in my computer.

IC... either way... i'm probably not going to be on for a bit. so when you do get access to the pictures, can you please do my avatar for me? thanks in advance.

Yes, I will, if I get access.

Hopefully my camera thing isn't broken :cry

you can always use my camera if you need to ... just don't scroll too far back in the memory... you might see somethings you can't unsee.

I have another camera. But this camera is less than a year old. So it's going to piss me off if I can't fix it.

Kori, what's the model of your computer with the card adapter? We can check to see if it accepts xD.

you can get those 30 in 1 adapters really cheap too.

The XD card is too wide to fit in the slot on my computer(s). My other camera has a regular Sony memory card and that is the right width. This Fuji camera has a wider (but very short) XD card.

I'll just wait to see if LJ can fix the camera. It just looks like that little tab that is in the hole where you plug in the USB adapter is bent to the side, so you can't push the adapter in. If someone can bend the tab back into place with something, then it should work fine.

I just don't get how this happened when I just used my camera two or three days ago.

I wonder what picture it was you took that broke your camera, Kori. :lol

just take it back to best buy and ask them to fix your camera....then three weeeks later they will lose it and end up getting a brand new fuji...well it worked for me anyways....if it is broke i know its a pain but the usb card readers run about 2 bucks or something

Does Walgreens' or Walmart's machines accept that memory card? They can create a CD, if so.

All digital photo processors accept memory cards and can convert them to CD within minutes.

Yes, but the focus isn't on the CD creation. The focus is on that particular memory card.

I don't think so. They are wide and very small compared to most media cards.

Anyway, a converter/adapter is only like $8 for XD to smart media. Then it will just fit in the slot on my computers. I'll go buy it tomorrow.

I just don't understand what happened to my camera in the last two days.

Not cameras, but digital photo processors found in most stores.

Oh. Well still the best bet is to just buy the converter.
