View Full Version : Will Duncan repeat a 2004?

After leading his team to a 2-0 lead over the LA Lakers, Duncan and the Spurs let the Lakers back in the series and ultimately let them win the series.

A Duncan-led Spurs team has blown a 2-0 lead before - in the second round in 2004, when Fisher was playing for the Los Angeles Lakers and memorably changed the series with a long 3-pointer at the buzzer of Game 5.

Will this happen again even if is not by a lucky shot?

Will Lebron choke again like the first two games?

It's certainly more recent than 2004.

And it's 3-1 going back to SA or 2-2 at worst going back to SA.

If you're gonna troll, you might at least get your facts straight. At least you might properly recall the details of the "memorable" part. Dope. :lol

You are not comparing these Utah Jazz with the '04 Lakers squad, right? I mean Williams and Boozer are solid, but that LA team had 4 HOF's and was one of the greatest team in the last 20 years.

Utah will not win in SA so even in 7 its ours.

I doubt it. The Spurs will probably win this series, but I guess anything is possible. Why speculate? Just watch.

This forum is a magnet for the fans of ringless teams.

Assuming this guy is halfway serious -

No. Jazz are not Lakers.

And the 2007 Spurs are not the 2004 Spurs (Tony has much improved since then).

Fisher's shot wasn't a 3, moron. :lol

Don't worry about the Cleveland trolls. Once Detroit wins the series, they'll leave :lol.

Cleveland trolls are funny. When was their last sports championship? :lol

And don't guarantee that Lebron will lead Cleveland to a championship anytime soon, much less three or possibly four. ;)

I still don't understand why that shot wasn't overturned.

You are comparing the Jazz to a team led by Shaq and Kobe, :drunk

You guys are all giving credence to something that this troll offers?

You're playing right into his wheelhouse. He doesn't give a crap what any of you think -- he somehow draws some perverse satisfaction out of making people he's never met hate him. I suspect it has something to do with a lack of love in other facets of his life, but I'm admittedly playing amateur psychologist with that one.

Depends on whether or not players are allowed to break the known laws of physics
