Eh, Boozer is on the bench with two, and fouls are being called all over the place. I think the refs are just calling it tight now that they see it's getting rough.

i certainly feel duncan is getting hacked. not only does it suck that tim will not get a foul call for those but also that he gets a turnover counted in.

Dude the NBA refs are so horrible
this year they have been the worst
with Joey Crawford, their calls in the Suns vs. Spurs series, and with LeBron.

Those bitches hack Duncan and get away with it, the refs need to call it. Other than that, we've gotten our fair share of calls. The Jazz have gotten a lot too. The refs even called them for 3 fouls IN A ROW. I'm thankful.

They weren't hacking Duncan, they were stripping the ball.
This thread is fucking moronic.

This thread IS moronic. We've got 5 more fouls than you. I'm not complaining. Duncan is getting frustrated with legit D.
Get over the reffing and watch the game
Give Jerry Sloan some credit. The Jazz aren't playing dirty. They are playing physical ball. Sloan knows what plays in the post-season. He's coached the team well to take advantage of it. And he would be a fool not to.
The refs are letting the teams play on both ends. In the regular season, you can call them missed calls. Now it's just playoff basketball. The difference is that Sloan's team has a strategy to make the most of it. It's smart ball.

Lame thread. The Jazz are playing very physical D. The Spurs just need to play through it.

The flopping and Hollywood theatrics of the NBA have just gotten out of hand, especially the foreign players, players of all teams.
This isn't soccer.

I don't even see much flopping in this game.
This is hard, physical, playoff basketball and the refs are doing a good job. Simple as that.

The Jazz were let to be physical late in the first quarter. But uh, welcome to playoff basketball in Utah. It's been this way since Larry Miller took the team north from New Orleans.

Not fouls. Duncan's just getting stripped every time he brings the ball down to his knees. They teach you when you're like eight years old not to bring the ball down around your knees in the post, sad that Duncan is still getting owned at this point in his basketball career.

Giracek,Oberto, Ginobili, and Fisher (3 foreigners, surprise, surprise) have had some just ridiculous ones tonight. They dont always result in a blown whistle, but these 4 are out there flopping away alright.

Duncan's making the mistake of dribbling more than one time as they talked about on ESPN.
He's trying so hard to get right to the basket that he's exposing the ball to swarming defenders.
He has the range to take one dribble and take a bank shot, hook shot, or go up and under. Easily.

Let's face it. The word is out around the league that you can strip the ball out of Duncan's hands whenever he takes it down low. I'm getting tired of watching that shit happen and all those TOs.

I think this is karma for some of the shitty reffing jobs we've had to endure here in San Antonio over the years, most recently in Game 3. Blaming the refs for a loss is always lame, but after nights like this, it's tough to deny that in the NBA, the refs are not only HORRIBLE, but they have a HUGE impact on the outcome of the game.
That being said, the Jazz foul a LOT. Maybe not 10 times more than the Spurs (17 to 27), but they definitely play a more physical game down low. I don't think Duncan was getting fouled on most of those strips, but the refs did miss some contact on some of his moves. They missed a ton of calls on Tony's drives to the hoop. I think, in the end, it probably evened out.
