Was just listening to WOAI and they are right, if Fisher does make it to the game and gets on the court.... applaud him.

Applauding him would show the class act the Spurs and their fans are.
The man's daughter is sick. Come on.

Honestly, the stuff in his life off the court far outweighs the on court stuff from game 4.

We should be nothing but polite to him, in terms of singling him out.

Obviously, still cheer like mad for the Spurs and boo all of the Jazz (no throwing anything),but be intelligent about which calls to object to and don't single Fisher out.

Let's be Spurs fans.

Let's be rowdy and loud, but with class.

Go Spurs.

If I was there, I would give him a standing ovation.

I have nothing but respect and good feelings for Derek Fisher.

I hate Derek Fisher, and I'd never dream of booing him. I still think the Spurs fans should block his access to the arena if he tries to pull a Willis Reed. That way he really deserves an ovation if he makes it.

That would be a good idea. I think it'd show the Jazz players/fans that we respect their players' situations and that we aren't going to stoop down to their level because of a game.

Like they care? Do it because it's the right thing to do or don't do it.

Watching Fish run onto the court in Game 3 gave me chills. It doesn't matter if you're a Jazz or Spurs fan, the guy is under unbelievable duress and 99.9 percent of the world wouldn't even think about going to work considering the circumstances. Even if they don't give him an OV, there will be an electricity in the air if he plays that's hard to put into words.

At the end of the game, they asked us to give the Jazz a round of applause.....it was pretty loud...I was impressed.........Hey Utah fans we don't need to throw anything at you.

I could have clapped for the Jazz but I wouldn't have meant it and so I didn't.
Out of respect for our team, I refrained from booing the Jazz while others clapped for Utah, but that was as nice as I cared to be.

As for Derek, I pray his daughter makes a full and speedy recovery.
