If the Cavs get one more and come to face the Spurs, the performance of this game will have one nice effect - it had to get the Spurs attention.

I'm not saying that the Spurs would have overlooked the Cavs, but after seeing what Lebron is capable of doing to poor defensive rotations and uninspired play the Spurs have their full attention on them now.

Plus, Pop and the team have one full week to prepare. I like our chances.

We won't have to worry about the Spurs making SF a priority this offseason. Finally. Win..or lose.

i'm pretty sure the spurs would've overlooked the cavs. not that they'd lose in the finals, but i bet the cavs would've at least stolen a game in san antonio.

The fun's just beginning. Win or lose, the Spurs are more than likely gonna face the kid that's on every damn commercial and are going to get their crack to take him and his team down. If the Spurs stay consistent in their play it will take the best single performance in a series in NBA history for the Cavs to win. If LBJ can do that, more power to him.

I completely agree.

We've been extremely lucky this postseason. Facing LBJ in the Finals will be the ultimate test. I don't think last night's game was a fluke, just a sample of what's to come. Spurs better be ready with their A-game, LBJ could make us look just as stupid as the Pistons look right now.

1 on 5...especially if the 5 are the SPURS.

And some people here are actually, seriously worried.

Too funny.

Let Lebron try and beat us by himself. It's simply not going to happen.

I hope your coach and players don't think the way you do...

They don't. Spurs will be champions. LeBron will have foul trouble all series cuz he's gonna have to work hard as hell on defense and watch out for Manu, Fab, Duncan, Bowen, Parker, Barry and Horry taking charges. The Spurs will stop his penetration before he even gets into the key which will force his guys to shoot 3 pointers all series long. And 3 pointers don't win championships.

And 3 pointers don't win championships.

We beg to differ.

Sincerely,

Steve Kerr and Robert Horry

I figure LeBron will steal a W, 2 max, by going unstoppably nuts in crunch time, but he won't do it 4 times.

Amare avg 37 ppg in 05 and we took them 4-1. Deron was 30 ppg through 3 games, lost 1-4.

LBJ is averaging only 26 PPG.

I'm amazed that one James performance of historic import has so many Spurs fans pissing in the pants. Where was he unstoppable the other 4 games?

Championship teams don't lose 4 games in 7 to one player.
