Does anyone know who had the best post-season as a 1st year player?

Stats for the players if possible. I would like to compare Daniel Gibson and see where he's at!

*haha i now realise he's far back but got some talent to build on!

I know you probably just started following the NBA, but way back in 1980 there was this guy named Earvin "Magic" Johnson, who as a rookie scored 42 points, while moving over to center instead of his regular point guard position, in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Dude, stats can be deceiving. Those are Horry type numbers. Gibson must be a beast if he's = to Horry his rookie year.

Gibson hasn't been playing regularly since game 3 of this series. This might have been a clean sweep thru the entire Eastern Conference if Mike Brown knew anything about his players and started Gibson from day one.

Magic got some kind of trophy that goes to an obscure player who is deemed the best. And the team got another trophy of some kind because of his play his rookie year.
