to kick their collective asses?

I know that TD usually never acknowledges how media motivates the team.

STill--I expect the whoe story line--the new versus the old; the young versus the old; the old face of the NBA against the New face, etc.

After a while, you'd think it would give the guys an extra bit of incentive to prove that Lebron is still just a kid whereas NBA Titles are won by teams of men.

I'm afraid that the extra motivation will be on the Cavs side.
And they gonna play like Gibson played...

I'm kinda glad the Cavs swept the Spurs in the regular season. otherwise I think the Spurs might get complacent. LBJ's 48-point game was another timely reminder that the Cavs are a team to be respected with the "appropriate fear".

Every dog has it's day. Just like Gibson. Don't buy into the hype just like most people did when Lebron scored a million points on game 5. He ended up shooting like 4-11 from the field last night. Again, do not buy into the hype. Look at the overall picture. Spurs have way too many weapons. The eastern conference is not strong enough against a veteran team, with experience, poise and three throphies.

i don't buy into the extra motivation thing. spurs are concerned with one thing, winning the championship. that's it. anything else is a distraction.

extra motivation if that exists will go with Cavs, but people must understand how strong are Spurs ... you saw how TD, Manu and TP step up ... but also Robert, Bruce, Mike, Fabricio, etc. had solid games!!!

We have people in which we trust!

I don't see hype affecting the SPURS one way or another..They are mature and the most poised team in basketball today ... Not really an issue ...

For a team with the "business like" attitude toward the game, I really doubt these guys pay much attention at all the any "media hype".

They know what they have to do, they have done it before, and I trust they will do it again.

The media will be riding Lebrons jock for the next 5 days...That you can count on. They will show his 48 point game over and over and over again. They will ride this for all the print they can get.

But with all this........Is anyone (analyst) predicting the Cavs will win this series?

They will ride him for all it's worth, but they all know deep down which TEAM is the best.

If any players on either team have room for "extra" motivation for the NBA FINALS then that's pathetic.
