you expect lebron to get his, but i don't think anyone has made him work very hard on defense. who has he guarded, really? vince carter? a depleted wizards team? tayshaun/hamilton? i think hamilton showed how ineffective lebron can be on defense. thus, maybe finley makes lebron pick up some fouls because he can't hang back like he would guarding bowen, and the three-pont threat remains.

So who sits then? Bowen? Parker? In either case, no. Besides, Manu warks better off the bench this time around.

bowen would sit, and even better, come off the bench to handle this gibson kid. he seems to be the only punch off the bench for the cavs.

What would be our "punch off the bench" then?

Beno?

horry, possibly, brent barry can be effective at times. i'm not sure if punch off the bench would be all that necessary once you negate gibson. the rest of the cavs bench don't really score much. donyell's scoring 3-4 points per game, he's the only other guy i can think of who comes off the bench. varejao doesn't.

Because Bowen is a better defender and Manu has played very well off the bench.

based on what, though? melo and williams have shown they can overcome bruce. granted, it's a team game, but some of that got mitigated with the last game against detroit. the cavs are capable of making some of those open shots provided once the team defense gets focused on lebron.

Why make radical adjustments before the series even starts?

I think Spurs will stick with what got them there.

They can adjust at halftime or in game 2 if necessary.
