You would say James if it was a question of root canal vs. pubic hair extraction.

did you look at james stats?

No, but that's my whole point.

I could ask you to choose those two above and you'd still say James was worse.

I wonder if you'd rather he just faded into oblivion just to make yourself right.

What more do you want from a guy in his second year in the league?

He's not even 20-farking-years-old.

So he had a bad night. As can Duncan, as did Jordan.

You just seem to have it in for this guy completely.

ducks
12-01-2004, 11:52 PM
the guy has to win his divison
then he can get the mvp

he has put those numbers before facing west
his team lost to clippers
then rested a day
and got their asses kicked against the suns

he has 6 turnovers
and shot terrible

Spurminator
12-01-2004, 11:52 PM
Jordan never shot 6-19 in a game.

Never.

Nope, not once.

Okay maybe a few times.

Duncan had five turnovers against Seattle.

So what? Trade him?

Spurminator

You continue to belittle him by comparing him to a standard NO ONE holds him to. You're acting like anything less than an MVP in his second season is somehow a disappointment...

What the Duck, dude!!!

Garnett went 9-22 in a loss to Detroit. Guess he can't win against any EC teams.

I am just stating
every bad game he has is against the west teams
people thought he was the mvp now the went on the west road trip and are 0-2
and the two games were not close

james looked human both games. (it is just not one game)
he still has not arrived like some think he has

he is good but he has room to work on his game

when he puts up the numbers like 35 points against some west teams then I will be impressed

everyone has a bad game but it is funny how he never has a really good game against a west team

I said it last year and I'll say it again this year...Lebron can lead the Cavs to 10 straight titles and win ten straight MVP awards, and he still won't live up to the ridiculous amount of hype the guy had before playing a single game in the NBA.

Give me one (1) link that suggested the Cavs were going to sniff the Finals last year.

Or this year, for that matter. One link. All I ask.

You're blind with hate if you think a 19/20 year old having this kind of season is anything less than remarkable.

Maybe, but since when do the Spurs play the Cavs 82 times per year?

Oh, and since Bowen has that little All-NBA Defensive Award on his mantle now, I think it's safe to say he does that to a lot of people in the league.

CLEVELAND (AP) -- LeBron James brought Cleveland back as far as he could, and then got some help. Some big help.

Cavaliers center Zydrunas Ilgauskas drained three long jumpers, including a tying 3-pointer at the end of regulation, and Cleveland rallied for a 114-109 overtime win against Phoenix on Wednesday night, the Suns' first loss this season.

James scored a season-high 38 points -- 17 during an amazing one-man comeback in the fourth quarter -- for Cleveland, which trailed by 19 entering the final period before pulling off one of the most unlikely comebacks in the club's 35-year history.

Does this game ring a bell?

"when cavs slid out of playoffs"

nope. Cavs become playoff contenders when Silas traded for McInnis, and the Cavs cratered, out of the playoffs, when McInnis got hurt.

lebron is amazing. he is only 19. this is not a soft league, he's got "IT"

we should all enjoy what is happening with this kid. even if you are not a cavs fan. the pressure on him to succeed and be wonderful is unlike few any of us has ever witnessed.

Wade's good, but I have to think much of his improvement is due to having Shaq in the paint sucking two or three defenders onto him every posession.
