I will say it right now. It will be Phoenix vs San Antonio in the WCFs, take that to the bank. They will finish 1-2 in the best records in the NBA this year.

These two teams have the two leading candidates for the MVP in Nash and TD, they have two of the most exciting young players in the league in Manu and Stoudemire. They have depth, they have rebounding, they have scorers, they have coaching....they have it all. All other teams will be fodder.

Yeah right Jim...just like they Suns are gonna win the Pacific, a day late and a dollar short according to your prediction last year.

if nash gets hurt they are toast

spurs could keep going for awhile if tp goes down for 5 -10 games

IF TD gets hurt, we are toast...what is your point?

I just said that they are the two MVPs this year.

If the Suns keep this up, Nash and Amare will split the MVP vote.

If all the contenders stay healthy in the West, it's gonna come down to TD and KG. It's destiny and Must-See-TV.

Who doesn't want to see the two best players in the world go at it in a seven game series for the Western Conference Crown?

I really don't think any other western teams will be able to crash the party.

I think Minny is an also-ran in the west. Lotsa firepower in Phoenix, it will be Spurs vs. Suns for the ring.

I agree that Sprewell and Cassell are older. But they don't have to play huge minutes. If they can do it in the 4th Qtr, that's all that counts. The Wolves are deep and Eddie Griffin was a nice pickup.

Phoenix can run but Nash, IMO, is not as worrisome as Starbury. The Spurs can handle Nash.

I will make a bold prediction that the Kings are our matchup = under the radar, still deep,(it would seem) for one last run. They seem to be meshing and if they play any defense at all could be scary but still Spurs in 5 or 6.

If the Suns keep this up, they'll win 71 games. . . .

The Kings are no problem at all, IMO.

Spurs would handle but they got the experience, some great players, and depth to test the rest! Don't under-estimate them!
