IMHO, the Spurs will win the NBA Finals in 5 games.
I see it playing out something like this:
Game 1 - The Spurs open at home with a dominating performance on both ends of the court, winning Game 1 by double digits.
Game 2 - The Spurs take Game 2 in a more closely-fought battle, but still get away with a win. Surprisingly good FT shooting late in the 4th locks up Game 2 for SA.
Game 3 - The Cavs, now down 2-0, realize they are in a "must win" situation, and LeBron steps up big and has another career performance as the Spurs decide to mail it in for the second half. Cavs win Game 3 by double digits.
Game 4 - This one is a grinder. Final score is in the 80s for both teams, and the Spurs take Game 4 in a close one, or this game might go to OT with the Spurs winning on their final possession.
Game 5 - Now up 3-1 and on cruise control, the Spurs keep it close most of the game, with many lead changes, until finally pulling away in the 4th quarter to close out the series and win their 4th NBA Championship. Robert Horry announces his retirement soon afterwards. Big Shot Rob takes his 7 rings and sails off into the sunset. Spurs fans everywhere celebrate as the "D" word starts being uttered in the same sentence as "San Antonio Spurs".

I think it's spurs in six. We'll lose 1 at home and 1 in Cleveland.

You guys will win the first two at home in SA.
We'll take Game 3 in CLE.
You'll take game four in a nailbiter reminiscent of Game 4 of Lakers-Pacers in 2000, with Manu playing the Kobe role.
We'll take Game 5 as our red-clad crowd gives a final roaring homage to our boys.
You'll take Game 6. Spurs, 4-2.

I see we agree on Game 4...yes, I predict it will be a real cliffhanger, coming down to the final possession in the 4th quarter or in OT.

I don't know. I tend to lean the other way and think it will be reminicent of the Lakers-76ers of 00-01. I think Cleveland takes the first game, and everyone and there grandmother will be stunned. Lebron will have an unstoppable game like Iverson did. Then the Spurs will come out and run off the next 4. Spurs in 5. I def think we will probably lose one at home. I just have this feeling it's gonna be the opener.

Yup...Cleveland DOES have a chance to win it all...that's what makes it so exciting...if the Spurs were 100% GUARANTEED to win, there would be no point in even watching the games.

We have a puncher's chance, because of our defense, depth, and LeBron. But the only guy on our entire roster with Finals experience is Eric Snow. I don't see any way we can overcome your having been in these situations so many times. Either way, this will be a great experience for our young team. We'll be learning from the best.

I think the Spurs drop game 1. I think they're a little more rusty than they realize and they drop it. The media explodes and crowns LeBron James as the next MJ. The Cavs are giddy with excitment and their intensity falls off and they drop 3 straight to the Spurs only to finally take game 5 in Cleveland to make it 3-2. The Spurs head home and mercilessly devour the Spurs in San Antonio to beat them in 6.

Certainly not outside the realm of possibility. But IMO all three games in Cleveland will be close, and if they are, we'll take two of them. I think the only way we lose two at home is if we stink up the joint in one of them, like we did in Game 5 of the New Jersey series.

LMAO! A 4-game sweep against San Antonio? Maybe a FLip Saunders-led Psitons team, but definately not a Popovich-led Spurs team.
