1950-51: Bob Davies, Rochester Royals
1968-69: John Havlicek, Boston Celtics
1972-73: Walt Frazier, New York Knicks

1979-80: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, LA Lakers
1981-82: Magic Johnson, LA Lakers
1983-84: Larry Bird, Boston Celtics
1985-86: Larry Bird, Boston Celtics
1986-87: Magic Johnson, LA Lakers
1987-88: Magic Johnson, LA Lakers
1989-90: Joe Dumars, Detroit Pistons
1990-91: Michael Jordan, Chicago Bulls
1993-94: Hakeem Olajuwan, Houston Rockets
1998-99: Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs
2002-03: Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs
2003-04: Ben Wallace, Detroit Pistons
2004-05: Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs

(NBA Champs with no All-NBA players: 1978 Bullets, 1979 Supersonics, 1989 Pistons)

Notes: All NBA Third Team added 1989

I don't have a point here, and I'm actually pretty shocked this has happened as many times as it has. I started this list expecting to have four or five entries, but I was surprised the 80's Lakers and Celtics had so many instances where only one player was selected to the All-NBA Team.

Anyway, Duncan or LeBron will add his name to this not-so-exclusive list this year.

If you want an exclusive list, I believe that the 1999 Spurs were the only champions in history who didn't have a guard on their team that had been or would become an All-Star.

Wasn't Manu an all-star in 2005?

An All-Star, but not All-NBA.

Yeah, the list becomes much shorter when you list the lone All-Stars on Championship teams.

But I think the All-NBA Team is a better indicator of the NBA Elite.

All NBA is only 5 players. How often do 2 teammates make it? Pip - Jordan and Shaq-Kobe are the only two I can think of in recent memory.

There is All-NBA First, Second, and Third Team. So there are 15 players, IIRC.

Three teams of five players from 1989 on.

Before 1989 there were only two teams.

So, TD and Magic are the only two players in NBA history to do it three times...sweet! :toast
