but the Cards are one of the worst teams thru June. Only 7 teams in baseball have worse records. Pujols has played the worst ball of his career up until about a week ago. Rolen is .260 with 3 HR. Reyes, the rookie pitcher that won Game 1 last year, is 0-8. Our free agent pitcher Wells is 2-10. Carpenter in on the DL until July at least. Mulder won't be ready until late July. Yadi has a broken wrist on his catching arm. The team is a complete mess.
However... we are in 2nd place only 5 games back, only 4 games under. We haven't been 4 games under since 30 April. Now that interleague play is coming, we get 6 games in the next 9 against KC.
