That guy spent more time on his back than a fucking prostitute....

Maybe half were actual attempts to draw charges, the other half were flops...

The guy was flopping like a fish out of water. Ridiculous.

Don't forget the Brazilian and Argentinian soccer players are diving and flopping all the time too so its natural for these two...

As a basketball referee I personally am sick and tired of seeing all of the flops. When they go to Cleveland for 3, 4 & possibly 5... Might be a different story... Herr Stern & ABC want a 7 game series. :madrun :fro

Hopefully it doesn't effect the Spurs like it did the Pistons. Sheed and Webber completely lost their heads after Verajo got the call every time. It didn't help that Flip did nothing about it as well. Oh well.

On at least two of the charges he picked up he was moving to the side to draw contact. The refs missed those calls, but that's the way it goes. The Spurs win regardless.

I thought the officiating on a whole was about as even as it gets. A few missed calls or wrong calls both ways but that's the game.

We were laughing at him up in the cheap seats. Spurs got at LEAST three or four easy baskets at the rim because his dumb ass was laying down in the lane. He also flopped on the perimeter in the second half, and the rebound basically ROLLED out past the three point line to a Spur player. WTF? His new Indian Guide name is Bushy Hooker on Her Back.

Tony flips it to Duncan for an easy dunk :lmao

Nah, Varejao is ok, it's just that you can't hold a trophy in your hands if you're laying down on the floor all the time.

His game will balance out. I'm guessing that the act of more flopping will drive the refs, in the future, to use more replay to determine fact vs fiction.

We were discussing this last night. On the one hand, I can't imagine that with two "small" markets anyone really cares that much. On the other hand, that might be just the impetus needed to stretch it out as long as possible. Guess we'll see.

Not true if you watch their national football teams.

Argentina spends a good 40 min of a 90 min game on their ass.

They show replay of an opposing player running within 1ft of an argentinian player, and the player gos' flying grabing his ankle or some other body part and rolls halfway across the pitch untill the offical says, wtf is going on here?!?

please. maybe 15 years ago, but today the brazilians beat us hand down. show me a single flop worse in any sport than 2002 WC rivaldo vs turkey (group stage). todays players is a different story. guys like riquelme, tevez, messi are constantly getting the crap kicked out of them but they keep going until its called. meanwhile guys like adriano are being suspended multiple games for fabricating penalties literally out of thin air. i'm going to look for a clip of that rivaldo dive, if youre not turkish its good for a laugh.

my current country of residence has probably the biggest KNOWN cheater in world footie.

i believe in 1980 the chilean national team was playing brazil in brazil and needed a win to get to the WC. the star of the chilean team was the goalie. he had no faith in his team so he wore a ring that day, and when it was clear chile was going to lose, a fan made the mistake of throwing an object near the goal. the goalie acted like he got hit, ducked down, and cut himself with the ring, and the chilean team left arguing the fans object caused the injury and that it wasnt secure to play. a week or so later fifa officials uncovered the plot and gave brazil back the 3 pts, and chile was banned for a couple years, and the goalie was banned for 20 or so years (for a player, basically a life sentence)

i guess thats the only one worse than rivaldo's
