Rather than try and dig up the 2 week old thread about Mike Finley it is easier to just start a new one

For all of those people i tried to convince were wrong who said that the Spurs would win with or because of Mike, check out his line so far.

2 Games
4 points
2 for 11 shooting
4 rebounds
34 minutes played

That's 2 ppg, 2 rpg, 17 mpg.

This is why we PAID to let him go in Dallas. The bigger the game got the more he dissappeared.

It's like i said before you will win In Spite of Mike but not because of Mike.

Your Big 3 Rulz and the rest of the guys.............try not to F#ck it up!

Finely is a key reason we are in the Finals.

Why is that so funny? It's true. Have you watched any of the playoffs? Oh wait, that's right... you've only watched the playoffs.

He is key. He seems a little "Finals" shy. He'll show up.

Well in Fairness in all his years in Dallas he never had to play this late in the year. Obviously his body is already trying to take a vacation.

yeah the big games like the closeout vs Denver

game 6 vs Phoenix

games against Utah.

yeah those "small" games, where he had 15 16 points.

Christ, he has two bad games, and everyone is back to jumping on the bash Finley bandwagon.

Finley could sit on the bench for the rest of this series, and if the Spurs end up winning, it would take nothing away from what he has done for the team this postseason. He was big in the first 3 rounds, knocking down shots and hustling on defense and for rebounds. He's obviously not playing great right now, but I'm hoping he'll come around. The Spurs will need his shooting when one of the big 3 have an off night.

I've been curious about Pop's apparent reluctance to put Finley back into the games after starting him. Sure, he's missed a few shots, but look at Barry last night.

The only person bagging on Finley is the Mavs fan. Where I come from that doesn't constitute everyone, or even anyone for that matter.

Finley has played great up until he hurt his back. He has been a big part of our playoff success and I think up until the end of the WCF he was averaging 13-15ppg.

I wonder if his back is still hurting and he is not letting on.
