You're way over the cap.

The sum of the first month of all of your leading bids has to be under 43.8 million. If you won all of the players you're currently leading, you'd be over the cap.

question to timvp and kori:

does that make the latest tpark bid(s) that put him over the cap invalid?

Jermaine O'Neal alone is eating up $19 million.

:shock

That only gives him 24.5 million to fill out the rest of his roster

Throwing all your eggs in one basket may work in the real NBA, but in fantasy ball it doesn't make much sense.

yes, that matter too, but patrick is under the cap.

tpark, check out the bidding sheet (which timvp spent hours for our convienence). it helps you see how much room you have left and you just have to calculate the more recent bids to have a feel for what's going on.

also, on patrick, notice how his bids are usually on the lesser players. and when he is outbid, his money is freed up again.

i retracted my bid on Jermaine O'Neal

once again my numbers were wrong and I apologize.

tpark,

why don't you hold off on bidding for a little bit until timvp or kori get back.

you are currently WAY over the cap.

and i don't know if it's as simple as retracting your jermaine o'neal bid.

i retracted 19 million

that isnt enough?

No worries TPark, but you still need to cut about 5 million dollars.

Here are your bids (first month):

Jackson* * * * 1.8
K Thomas 0.8
Jefferson* * * * 3.3
Martin* * * * 7
Terry* * * * 8
Howard* * * * 2
Redd* * * * 7.75
R Davis* * * * 4
Baker* * * * 4.5
Ilgauskas* * * * 5
Bosh* * * * 0.6
Gaines* * * * 0.9
Rose* * * * 2.6
Total 48.25

Also, be sure you only have the high bid on 13 players or less at a time. You're right there now, but before you cut O'neal you were at 14. So this means you can't bid on another player unless one of your players is outbid.

i retracted illgauskas at 5 million

so im at the minimum now.

Time to go back to work anyways.

Sometimes you guys are too nice to me,
i wonder how you dont just ban me lol:rollin

well i guess we will just have to accept your retraction, but can you see how you retracting players after you bid on them could affect the other bidders?

Patrick hasn't made any new bids since TPark outbid him on Jermaine, so I think everything's fine. You've got Z on your hands for 4.5 mill, but I assume you're okay with that.

yeah,

it seems no harm was done. i want Z at that price, but he bid on another guy of mine that i would have liked.

Everyone be your own watchdog.

Watch your number of players (13 max) and your cap ($43.8M).

I am not just talking to TPark, others have been going over too.

Please try to play within the rules. That's the way it's fun and fair. If you make a mistake, just let us know. :)

Last night I bid up to my 13th player. I wanted to bid on another, but couldn't until one of my other bids was overbid by someone else.

Just watch your numbers.
