What bars would yall recommend to watch games at in S.A.? Who's got the best TV's and drink specials? Im gonna be coming in from San Marcos maybe tonight and for game 4 for sure. In 2005 we watched some of the Finals games at Goomba's Pizza when WOAI was there and it was fun as hell. Do yall know where WOAI is gonna be at this year?

I think they are at the new Stone Oak location of Lion & Rose Pub.

I live on the NW side, and I enjoy Fox and Hound or Bufallo Wild Wings on DeZavala. Champps on Huebner is nice...but gets super crowded for the games.

I also went to a relatively new place in Stone Oak called Indigo Joes for one of the Suns games....food took forever, but they had a ton of TVs and a nice atmosphere.

Those were the two places I was going to suggest. They're right off the 35 just past Retama Park. Unless you feel like navigating your way through the city, I'd go with Hooligans or BWW in Live Oak.

Those are definitely a great option if coming in from San Marcos ... they are great places and it'd be really convenient.

They have been JAM-PACKED for the last few games, so I'd definitely get there 1hr+ before hand, or see if you can get a reservation.

Lion and Rose at Sonterra should be pretty cool.
We've got a DJ on site that plays the Game Ops and it has gotten kinda crazy.

Isn't there a GTG?

It was fun at Goombas because Kori was there, not WOAI....

Wherever you watch, get there early... Ben Harper is performing "The Star-Spangled Banner" on slide guitar about 8:50ish (EDT).

That's kind of what I was thinking ... it's better than any bar. :)

No big drink specials but Cowboys Dancehall is doing the Spurs games. Giant screens everywhere. Thats definitely the most target rich environment of all the ones listed if you want to get laid after the game.

Were yall there for game 7 vs. Detriot? That was prolly the most fun I've ever had watching a game of any sport

Blanco Tavern at Blanco and Lockhilla - Selma. Normally good.
