probably going to a game 5. I see Lebron getting to the line 25 times.

That would be the ultimate Game 5 forcing ref crew.

The fact that you are actually hoping for Salvatore....leaves me speechless.

I guess that's the only way Cavs can win.

I'm not hoping, he will be officiating this game.

This series is going 6 or 7 games

:lol @ you thinking Salvatore is competent enough to actually throw this game to the Cavs...

Incompetence is incompetence...and he's incompetent.

If this game was Malone Jazz vs Shaq Lakers and Salvator was reffing it? I'd feel sorry for Malone and Shaq.

You'll figure it out though...

I hope there is an edict to throw this one to the Cavs...with Salvator's incompetence that'll just about gurantee a Spurs victory.

Anyone that openly celebrates Salvatore reffing their game, hasn't been watching much basketball recently.

Well, every single conspiracy theory concerning the officials has been wrong so far, simple probablility states that one of them has to be right eventually.

A. I'll believe it when I see it.

2. No amount of officiating will save the Cavs.

When I read the title...I actually heard the sound clip from the movie "Psycho".

"Reeeh, reeeh, reeeh, reeeh, reeeh!!!"

You mean we weren't? Hmm. I wonder where all those folks were after their predictions didn't come true. I guess they are waiting for something to happen so they can yell, "SEE? SEE? I told you they don't want the Spurs to win!"

Might have made a difference had the Cavs won on Tuesday.

Now...not so so much!

On the brightside....

If this is the actual ref crew...at least we're burning all the crappy refs in one game...and Bavetta has already reffed in this series. It'd be very unSternlike for him to put all his eggs in one basket like this...

Salvator by himself is enough to unintentionally screw any game up(in either direction).

I believe the poster Slayermin pointed out that the Spurs are 8-13 (38%) in playoff games that Eddie Rush officiates. This stands out because Pop's playoff record is 91-51 (64%). FWIW.

Incompetence? You mean like when he sent Dallas to the line 50 times against us last year? Or Shaq and Kobe 45 times back in 2003 I think it was?

This sounds like a Stern special.

* Nies hates Duncan

* Salvatore is the human series extender

* Rush, for whatever reason, seems to always officiate games we lose in the playoffs

Looks like ABC asked Stern for a game 5.

It's going to have to be Parker and Manu and the role players carry the load.

Nies and Salvatore will be having a contest to see who can whistle the most calls on TD.

Yes...and like when he blew the call against the Rockets on Jon Barry.

I don't think Salvator is a fixer...the dude is a plain old bad ref.

So whenever we lose, it's Stern's and/or the ref's fault.

Cavs were the worst FT shooting team in the NBA....sending them to the line isn't going to help them much...

It's not so much about them shooting FTs, it's us having to trot out Vaughn, Barry, Elson, Oberto, and White because everyone else is in foul trouble.

I just know when we used to get to the line a bunch...sometiems we lost games late in the 4th because of them putting us on the FT line.

Hey, the excuse is all lined up. It only gets used if it's correct, otherwise it's forgotten.
