Alot of Spurs players need to recognize. Recognize the difference between the Pistons and a team like the Mavericks. Its simple as that, control the ball and there is no need for anxiety. Would have been a blow out. Now the Pistons left with confidence. That nail in the coffin is important, keeps the bugs out.

we only play Pistons twice a season so tell me sequ what other teams can pull off a defense effort like the pistons?

also I think you are discrediting the amount of bullshit calls the refs gave to the Pistons tonight

Beno may not have had a 'break-out game' against the world champs, but I still saw a great pass to Manu under the basket that was open for only an instant. And a nice pull-up jumper. He will earn more minutes as the season goes on.

SEQU...Shut the hell up. Your repetitiveness is irking me. If it wasn't for the fact that Beno keeps on validating his place in the L with solid play, despite your wild assertions, I'd add you to my IGNORE LIST.

I've been reading this forum for quite a while before registering and I must say that Sequ simply appears to dislike foreigners. Am I right? Or is it just Europeans? Or just Slovenians?

In any case, I'm kinda glad that he was proven wrong yet again today :)

"I Start Sheyittt" <---------- says it all.

He enjoys the thrill of the argument and you have to give him credit he's good at it, he gets everybody all worked up. The threads he starts are some the longest ones in the forum.

Let's put it in this way. Beno will help spurs get into the playoffs, this is without question. But when it comes to winning the playoffs, still question marks.
His O could no doubt cover his D when he plays with something like ducks, 76ers, or even Mav. But when he plays with something like Piston, I cann't see his O anywhere along with his D.
Don't tell me he dished out 3 assists, that was at the expense of 3 TOs.
And I think this forum absolutely need someone like Sequ, otherwise we will not have the chances to get exposed.

And I think this forum absolutely need someone like Sequ, otherwise we will not have the chances to get exposed. The guy is a rookie who never played US style bball before! So I'll take whatever he's giving us right now and give him props for doing a better job than expected ... so far!

I think it's a little early for stockton/nash/etc. comparisons and my wish at this point would be that he continues to improve as he has and that he stays healthy (I think the Spurs organization has a lot to do with this).

Playoffs? If he can give TP and others some rest and not help the opponents I'll be satisfied (of course I'm hoping he'll do much more).

Sequ's comments: I have no problem with a skeptic on the forum as long as he sticks to basketball. On the positive side it's always fun to see him eat crow publicly, which, in all fairness, he often does (has to).

Well as someone said you can't judge a player in just 1 game, he sucked against pistons, but his game was surprisingly well against mavs and 76ers which i count as good teams. Maybe he'll have 20 points in next pistons game and i'll have to say told you so again? :)
