The odds before the series on a San Antonio sweep were 6 1/2 to 1. That would have been the bet to make.

I thought of that...i had more than just my V-money on that spread!!! When Manu iced those 2 free throws (especially the 1st that went in, then out, then finally dropped), I was so happy b/c we were up by 4 with 1.5 seconds left. Then Damon Jones has to throw up that stupid buzzer-beating 3 instead of just dribbling it out like a man. :bang :ihit

I thought that too. "Damon Jones just screwed a bunch of gamblers out there."

If I were him, I wouldn't go near Vegas for a while.

Just to be safe, if I were P-Diddy, I wouldn't go near Vegas either.

Unfortunately, it kind of ruined the ending for me because I lost heavy cash. I say "kind of" because I was still overjoyed with the victory.

That's why I never bet actual cash on point spreads because of ridiculous shit like this.

The record for Finals defense was the Spurs holding the Knicks to 79.8 per in 1999.

Cavs were at 80.0 going into game 4.

If I'm not mistaken that final trey boosted the 2007 Cavs to 80.2 instead of 79.7? timvp, mathemeticians?

Damn, I forgot all about my vbookie. Forget about that though, that was a lame shot anyway... only losers would take that shot, and Damon Jones is a fucking loser.

I had Parker as MVP and the Spurs in a sweep. Jones cost me the trifecta. :lol

This type of shit always happens. Betting money on point spreads is really risky.

I guess I qualify, but you don't need me to figure it out.

Okay so if they were at 80 going into game 4 then they had a total of 240 points going into the game. Add 82 from that last game and you get 322.

322 divided by 4 is 80.5 (doing this in my head but I think it's right).

Otherwise, the total would have been 319. 319 / 4 should be 79.75, again unless I'm mistaken with my mental math.

So, the difference is 3 points/ 4 games or .75 ppg.

And this makes sense.
